well I live on Staten Island, and grew up mostly with friends of Italian heritage like myself. We were all very conservative.
however, I worked in a graphics department of an investment bank where I was the only conservative besides the manager out of about 50 people. I fought the good fight. You guys would have been proud lol. Sometimes someone would whisper to me in dark corners that they agreed with me on something. and a lot of them came to my 40th birthday party and gave me pretty nice gifts, Somehow for some reason they respected my convictions.

It always amazes me how the place where our freedoms and liberties were first fought for...has become such a liberal bastion. I really enjoy visiting all of the American Revolution sites when I visit NYC. That...and the great Italian food ;-)
Look, I’m not going to tell Weiner what to do, and I certainly don’t mind watching him stumble around like this, but....wow. Hasn’t anyone around him told him that, maybe, he should try to stay off of Twitter?
