From article, the law at the time (around 1974) didn’t allow a national bank to be setup in djakarta, so they took over an existing one.
At end of article, they say they want to “surrender it to Allah (swt )”

This to me is Islamic banking. And they wanted it to be a WORLD

Pretty ambitious for a small group.

But there’s more to the story....

Note that this group started up around early sixties, maybe a little before.

From second link, has some folks associated with that bank; initials SB used for bank for brevity.

An individual named LB did a report for them at the outset.

Concept for bank was done back in ‘71, and setup started in ‘74.

Head of organization picked 4 people to head it up; 2 internal to Indo, 2 external.

Internal folks:

WL and RM. WL theres not much on, but RM theres more info.

RM was advisor to bank SB, & at the time held sr position @ a Hongkong bank, later became chairman of the groups international enterprise (SESI) and director of kalimantan gold corp KGC. (More on those later).

External:
LA and L vH. Couldn’t find anything on LA.

L vH was an accountant.

He was involved with KGC mineral exploration (gold!) and worked with WL.

Teamed with a man named LB to develop darling harbor Sydney in ‘84.

Oversaw million $ contract construction.

Formed Kalimantan Investment Corporation in order to acquire for $1 a Indo mining contract.

Was or is board member of u.s. M. Subuh foundation.

Was country chairman of a 130,000 employee global corporation.

The mineral exploration is 25 million dollars to date ( 2011)

Where the $ came from:

The heirs to the groups founder inherited a small company PT C B, and the rights to 600 hectares of land, with mineral exploration shares.

Islamic banking does not allow interest to be gathered on the account.

So they “grow” the money by adding small lump sums.

This is a threat to western system, because commerce is mixed with religious belief.

So more digging will be needed.

The page containing the images is titled Bapak and Family, so... perhaps the young ladies are his daughters, or nieces. They look like sisters don’t they? OK I just had some coffee and realized the women are about the age of Barry. STEEE-RIIIKE! Wrong age. Doh!

Can you connect either to SADO language classes? Since she’s known to work with several members she may also have provided interpreters. See if you can find where they got their education

OK self... the speeches were in 1957. OK... They were translated by Tuti and Sharif Horthy. OK... Tuti appears to be in her twenties, so... she was born in the late fifties or early sixties, so... she must have translated the speeches as an adult in the late seventies or later. OK self, back to square one- do not collect $200.

The only reason O'Reilly seemed to be playing hardball at all is that the MSM has been tossing marshmallows underhanded at Duh-1 during interviews and question sessions all along.

No women involved in banking but that was not unusual as women in general seldom moved to even local bank manager positions.
But it also reflect bap ak’s attitude toward women. (No to slacks and short hair and birth control —— ran across it on several threads including anti sub threads and reunion of commune thread
