Manti Teo has the big game performances, the individual accomplishment, the personal heroism, and the team leadership on and off the field, as well as the personal integrity and character (no jail time, like some) that fit the profile. He is deserving.

Manti T’eo....No one thought the Domers would do so well this season...and T’eo is a big reason why. And, 7 Ints for a college LB is quite rare
Nothing against Manziel...who is a fine player that really improved as the season went along. Although Aggies success not as surprising to me because Kevin Sumlin is an excellent coach

The Heisman Trophy is a cursed award that almost always guarantees an undistinguished, if not disappointing career in the NFL. For their own good, I wouldn’t give it to either of them.
