Sarah Palin attached herself to Donald Trumps Birther conspiracy this weekend, throwing more fuel on a fire that wont quit. The question no one appears to be asking, though, is Would it be such a big deal if Barack Obama were born elsewhere?
I appreciate that the Donald wants to spend his resources in getting to the bottom of something that so interests him and many Americans, said Palin, whose popularity has been steadily slipping, of Trumps Birther crusade.
Hes not just throwing stones from the sidelines, hes digging in, hes paying for researchers to find out why President Obama would have spent $2 million to not show his birth certificate, so more power to him.
While surely Palin simply wants to make herself relevant in someway, her remarksand the entire racist Birther debatemade me wonder whether it would matter if Obama were born outside of the States.
Yes, our constitution says that president must be American made, but it also says that being born in the States gives you citizenship, an amendment the GOP, targeting anchor babies, is more than willing to kibosh, so why not remove the presidential restriction altogether?
We live in a post-globalization world. The strict geographical and political boundaries our Founding Fathers knew are long gone. No longer are Brits our enemies, and no longer do our political offices need protection from interlopers. Human travel has become more fluid, and allegiance to America is shared by people from all walks, and continents, of life.
A person does not run for president to take over, corrupt or destroy a nation. There is no Manchurian Candidate. A man or woman runs for the White House because they have the nations best interest in mind, even if they werent born here. Its not as if the presidency is a career chosen willy-nilly, or for nefarious purposes. It takes over your entire life.
If you need some proof, check out what Obama says he misses most about his pre-White House life: I just miss I miss being anonymous. I miss Saturday morning, rolling out of bed, not shaving, getting into my car with my girls, driving to the supermarket, squeezing the fruit, getting my car washed, taking walks. I cant take a walk.
Obamas lifeand that of his familyhas forever been changed. Not because he wants to erode our nation or is some alien invader, but because he cares about this country and wants to do whats best for it, just like any other person who runs for president. Even George W. Bush loved this nation and, despite his many, many mistakes, did what he thought was best.
It seems to me that today, the 21st Century, our highest office should be open to anyone who holds citizenshipwhether by birthright or adoptionand who can win the voters hearts and minds. The rule stating presidents be born here is not only close-minded, its unnecessary, paranoid and archaic.
Constitution? We don’t need no stinkin’ Constitution!
Yep. They're scared.
Soooo....what if Obama were actually a Kenyan? Would that possibly invalidate every law he’s ever signed? Like Obamacare?
0bama's a socialist!
No he isn't!
Yes, he is!
No he isn't!
Yes, he is!
No he isn't!
Yes, he is!
Well, what's so bad about that? or "So what?"
“While surely Palin simply wants to make herself relevant in someway, her remarksand the entire racist Birther debatemade me wonder whether it would matter if Obama were born outside of the States.”
A triple-shot of worthless propaganda by POS Andrew Belonsky against Palin, “racist” birthers and the Constitution.
I hope FOX allows a “special” show of lets just say two hours, or a series of shows, each show illustrates all the known parts of Obamas life starting with his grandparents.
And each show advances, each show will have images of where he went to school, where he went to college, what he may have been doing overseas.
You see thats whats absolutely interesting, why hasn’t there been a documentary about Obama from ANYONE?
Well, apparently Berry didn't get the memo.
“but it also says that being born in the States gives you citizenship”
I guess this illiterate missed the whole part about being “under the jurisdiction thereof”. What a load of manure.
The rationalizations have begun, They (Obama supporters) know he’s not legal, or that he’s an NBC. They also believe exposure is inevitable.
Anyone know what happened to that proposed change in the law where it would no longer be a crime to use a fictitious (or stolen) SSN? I read that somewhere in here, and immediately thought it was preparing for protection against eventual exposure.
I have a hunch at the very least there are altered documents to be found if not anything else.
Yes, he is!
Well, what’s so bad about that? or “So what?”
“Whatever.”
“Who cares.”
Exactly.
1) Of course he’s a citizen — how dare you accuse him of being anything else!
2) Maybe he’s got some paperwork problems — but we have the birth certificate!
3) OK, we don’t have the birth certificate — but clearly he is a Natural Born Citizen!
4) OK, he’s not an NBC — but no laws were broken!
5) OK, laws were broken — but everybody does it! Why make a big deal out of this?
6) OK, the corruption in this administration is unbelievable and reaches new heights of obscenity — but that’s old news! Can’t we just move on?
7) Hey, focus on it all you want — Obama owns the Senate! You can’t touch him! HAHAHAHA!
“And each show advances, each show will have images of where he went to school, where he went to college, what he may have been doing overseas.”
Which should be liberally interspersed with black title cards saying “Reel Missing” at the appropriate points where his records are sealed or missing.
From what I have seen out of 0bambi we absolutely do need that protection!
Revealed: Obama's CT Social Security # Traced To John Paul Ludwig (Lived CT-Died HI)
Anybody know if this was debunked?
Using FR as an example, how many Fox viewers would rather not know that Zero is a fake? 50%? more?
It does not make good business sense for Fox to ask this question until the answer is known.
It's exactly the same approach liberals use when they're confronted with irrefutable facts in arguments.
