I've updated my blog to include the e-mail from Janice Okubo confirming that they assign birth certificate numbers in the state registrar's office and the day they do that is the "Date filed by state registrar".
The pertinent portion from Okubo's e-mail:
In regards to the terms “date accepted” and “date filed” on a Hawaii birth certificate, the department has no records that define these terms. Historically, the terms “Date accepted by the State Registrar” and “Date filed by the State Registrar” referred to the date a record was received in a Department of Health office (on the island of O’ahu or on the neighbor islands of Kaua’i, Hawai’i, Maui, Moloka’i, or Lana’i), and the date a file number was placed on a record (only done in the main office located on the island of O’ahu) respectively.
MY SUMMARY: As you can see, Okubo said that the “Date filed by the State Registrar” is the date a file number was placed on a record (only done in the main office).
There are no pre-numbered certificates. A certificate given a certificate number on Aug 8th (Obama’s Factcheck COLB) would not be given a later number than a certificate given a number on Aug 11th (the Nordyke certificates).
There is no way that both the date filed and the certificate number can be correct on the Factcheck COLB. The COLB is thus proven to be a forgery.

Neither have I. Apparently he used to be a conservative but something seems to have changed.
The problem here is that EnderWiggins frequently made claims that were either impossible to verify, misleading or in some cases just plain false. He first ran into trouble with me when he claimed to be an expert on security clearances because he said he graduated from West Point. At one point he claimed that the agency responsible for conducting investigations and issuing security clearances for the Army was the FBI. This is just wrong, but the more he tried to wiggle out of this claim the worse things got for him.
I appreciate debating the issues with someone who feels some allegiance to the truth, but it is simply too time consuming to try and verify everything that someone with a fertile imagination can make up. Some of EnderWiggins posts were good illustrations of the types of challenges that those who are attempting to get this issue in front of a jury will face. But the largest portion of the hundreds of pages he posted in the past month was just plain crap meant to humiliate and demoralize others. His pseudonym said it all, he was here to conquer and destroy not to engage in healthy debate.
But Drew, I wouldn't worry very much about his demise. I suspect EnderWiggins has been here before under various pseudonyms and he will most likely be back in very short order. Drew, I for one do not appreciate the term "birther". I do not claim to know the circumstances of Obama's birth. The problem is that everyone in the country should be entitled to know the sealed details of the life of the man entrusted with the fate of future generations of Americans. It is unbelievable that we have a president who insists on hiding nearly every verifiable bit of information about himself. Unbelievable!
I assume the Army CID is responsible for background checks for Army personal. The AFOSI is responsible for Air Force background checks for security clearances.

There is no shortage of information available; it was very surprising to me that EnderWiggins started spreading inaccurate information that was very easy to disprove. It was also was very difficult to believe that someone who claimed to have “held an SCI clearance (higher than TS)” could have so many basic misunderstandings. My assumption is that he learned most of what he knows about the military through movies and popular works of fiction along with a smattering of info from Wikipedia.
It should be fairly easy to spot him when he returns in a few days under a new pseudonym. He generates a huge amount of poorly researched information mixed with pure fiction, and makes outrageous claims about his personal experiences. The fictional character Ender Wiggin was a very young genius warrior who annihilated his opponents. I assume that this is how EnderWiggins actually sees himself. I would not be surprised if the person behind the pseudonym is actually closer to 14 than 53.

Would someone please enhance the image of the "seal" on the "E. F. Lavender" Kenya Certificate? It is not an embossed seal consisting of discreet points. It looks more like a rubbing of a round coin, 1 1/6 " across, with letters around an image in the center, and a ridge around the edge.
