I've never posted a straight Vanity before.
But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.
It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.
But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.
So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.
Back to your regularly scheduled oggling and hitting.

I wish I had the knowledge of Photoshop like some of the Freepers on FR, but just like with my HTML...I’m still playing in the pre-school sandbox.
The Clinton is an older FR pic, and the Bonds Rookie is “borrowed” also,(but being a die-hard baseball fanatic, it is one of my all-time favorites.)
You know, when I started this, I thought I might be insane, but after I spent more time dwelling on it, I figured that was just crazy talk.
OK, I know it’s not your fault, but in addition to not liking the “I’d hit it” meme, I’m not really comfortable with trying to make a joke out of the picture where Bush learns our nation just had the biggest terror attack in the history of our country.
Again, maybe it’s just me, but I have trouble laughing at that.
Is my thread attempt to shame people into not posting sexy pictures to Free Republic considered officially a failure when my own daughter posts sexy pictures to the thread?

That’s the whole point. Don’t take everything so seriously. Like when I tell Amelia:

MAybe you didn’t notice, that’s why I said it’s not your fault, but the picture you posted with the President saying “I’d declare war on not hitting it” IS the picture in the classroom at the moment Bush was told the America was under attack.
I actually hadn’t noticed that previously myself.
Viggo Mortesen has been in more movies than I can count, and I’ve seen many of them whether I wanted to or not, as you might have guessed based on the previous posts.
Some of his more notable roles, in addition to the lead in Lord of the Rings, were in the remake of Psycho, Hildalgo, and A History of Violence.
