Jeff Beck looks great for 62. .....not much different than the last time I saw him in concert, when he teamed with Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page for Ronnie Lane’s benefit for multiple sclerosis - the “ARMS Concert” - at the L.A. Forum in 1983.

Hey Col. Rains, thanks for playing the game. It helped to pass the time! :)

What a creep Seacrest is - sorry - just a TV moment....but glad nobody went home. Glad I missed it too.

Yes, 2 will board the bus for home next week. My pointers (or two cents) for the Idols: Lakisha, put a smile on that puss and shuddup already about your kid; Phil, stick with the country twang and don’t try so hard; Chris, nasal is not a style and hoods look good on school children; Blake, put some beatbox back into your performance and open your mouth more; Jordin, keep it sweet and don’t screech it; Melinda, lower the mic when you sing so we can see your pretty smile.

Thanks for the “Fantasia” video-—seeing it now, I do believe I saw her do that a few months ago? on AMerican Idol.....Maybe that was what I saw her sing that gave me my only impression of her. It just confirms my first impression: Melinda , Jordin, and LaKisha are 10,9, and 6 times the singer Fantasia is. Very shaky pitch, whiny, shrill sound, and she seems to have no range except the upper registers, which are unlovely and unimpressive—they were really scraping the bottom of the barrel that season.

Oh my gosh! What a rip off! I cant believe they did this!!! UGH!!!!You're lucky--you didn't have to sit through two hours of it :)

It makes sense. How could you send somebody home tonight on the most incredible 'feel good' Idolathon?I agree. Still, they could have said this was a non-elimination week or something ahead of time.
But nobody would have watched the telethon.

Mathematically it wouldnt be the same if they add them to next weeks, would it?They did this in Season 2 when rodent look-a-like Corey Clark was kicked off the show unexpectedly because he had some outstanding warrants or something. They just declared everyone safe that week and added the vote totals to next week's results.

Poor Jordin was really upset when she thought she had been voted off. Dirty trickIt was a dirty trick, but I thought she handled it well considering.

No --- Seacrest said 2 would be going home next week
To: coder2
I've got it tivo'ed ---- I'll verify again just in a little bit.
But he said that they would add next week's #'s to this weeks and 2 would be going home next week. 4 hour call window again next week too.
