Thanks for posting the Dial Idol results. I’m surprised that Chris is at the bottom but more surprised to see Melinda near there as well.

But don’t forget, Dial Idol used that margin of error cop out so they can only predict that ONE of the SIX will go home tonight.

As for the others:

AOL Poll is as follows:
Phil (on TOP)
Jordon
Melinda
Blake
Lakisha
Chris

Tradesports has
Chris to go home with Lakisha a close 2nd.

Should be interesting tonight.

I predicted the bottom 3 as Chris, Blake and Lakisha but thought Lakisha would go home. I’d be happy to see Justin Timber-lame go packing instead!

Oh! Slapping myself silly.....don’t know why I didn’t remember her. But, I’m pleasantly suprised. I thought the pity factor would keep her from being tossed.

With no hat, Phil looks like that old kids toy with the bald guy with the metal shavings inside it and it came with a magnet so you could give him different hair styles.

Except for Blake, who I like, I agree with your comments wholeheartedly.

I hope Chris R goes home. He sucks. I’d honestly rather have Sanjaya on the show than him, cuz at least Sanjaya did something new each week and was entertaining. Chris R is the same every week, he sounds the same, looks the same, dances the same, and is just plain annoying. And, I dislike his voice, too nasally. Ugh.

Thank God for DVR. I’m going to DVR AI, so that I can fast forward through all the crapola and just get down to the eliminations. Shoot, I don’t even really have to watch.....I can just listen to the radio to hear who got kicked off or better yet, come here to the thread and see... :)

I’d rather see Jericho and Lost, than AI anyway.

I have said for 3 years...they pick a Patriotic songs week..bring in some injured troops...or take the show to a military base...and I AM LOVING it forever.

Is there a petition we can sign or start for this? I would TOTALLY love to see that and IMO, it would boost (not hurt) AI's ratings.

But, knowing AI, it would be politically incorrect to support America and our troops. We can try it though can't we?

It sounds like an idea to put the suggestion to AI for next season’s shows...I am sure they have all of this season’s shows done as far as what genre they are having.

Remind me in the next few weeks...and I will get with silent_jonny about seeing how we would go about getting that message to the producers of AI>

Let me guess. We have such “wealth” while others who keep reproducing like rabbits while refusing to take responsibility for themselves “do without”.

That’s why I refused to even watch last night. This country has gone above & beyond in helping, feeding & saving the world. We’ve done more than every other country put together.

I agree with you, Jonny, about AI wanting to throw off their imaginary "racist" demons. Probaby also want to keep the race shakedown artists, Sharpton and Jackson, at bay. Also, Cowell truly does seem to identify more with black people than his own race. In England, "black" includes people from the Indian subcontinent.

But there is another aspect to this: big entertainment wanting to showcase their talent in an era of declining sales of CD's and movie tickets, as well as declining ratings for broadcast TV networks. AI reaches the largest mass audience in television these days, short of the Super Bowl, and that's a once anually event. We should never underestimate big entertainment's capacity for cynical manipulation.

You’re right. I do remember that about them having the right to choose who goes when the votes are extremely close. I suppose its also possible that Sucky didn’t have anywhere near enough votes, too.
