I guess they couldn't find anyone to sit in the third chair. Weird. One week they have 4 judges and this day only 2.

They need to have a spare judge on hand just in case :)

Some interesting tidbits from Chris (Thelma) Sligh's blog:

Has performed and fronted a band for a few years on the regional/college circuit;

Is a proud and committed Christian and doesn't think that is mutually exclusive from rock-n-roller;

Would like his AI fans to be called the Fro' Patro' (a nod to Taylor's followers).

A lot to like about this guy. We'll see how far his singing and performing can take him. He definitely has the personality to win over America. Funny and intelligent too. Could be this year's Taylor Hicks - career barbander who wins over the voters by sheer force of will, personality and uniqueness.

I believe Paula's "family obligation" cost some of these people a second chance in Hollywood.

It's unprofessional of her to just take off like that and leave them at the mercy of only two judges.

How long have you been on the antibiotics? For me they can take up to 5+ days to really kick in. Or maybe you need a stronger antibiotic.

Have you ever tried probiotics? They are healthy bacteria that are commonly found in yogurt and also come in pill and powder form. I am a big fan of them. They really help with immunity. The antibiotics wipe out all the bacteria good and bad and that's why with really strong antibiotics have diarrhea as a symptom. The really good kinds have to be refrigerated and you can get them at any health food store (Whole Foods, GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc.). Look for acidolphilus.

Hey. I have been on Levaquin since last Friday. Am glad to be on it since I think it is keeping this thing from going into pneumonia maybe. And my cough is better - but I attribute that to the mucinex., I also had bad sneezing and runny nose - that was AFTER the cough and AFTER the difficulty breathing. A pharmacist told me to take the non drowsy allergy relief stuff during the day and the antihistamine kind at night - so I've done that. The sneezing stuff has stopped. The cough is better but when I do cough it hurts my insides like crazy! The doctor did a breathing "test" on me at the office and then did a "breathing" treatment - twice. He said it helped me - but I couldn't tell any difference. Then he gave me the advair and the presnisone to take. I just started the prednisone yesterday so maybe that will really help - I just need it to work longer.

I'll look into getting the acidolphilus at Whole Foods tomorrow - thanks for that suggestion!

and am i running late or not....didn't sign on cauz i wanted to enjoy (if you can enjoy some of these acts) without the distraction of laughing my a$$ off by reading and answering some of the comments tonight....there were some good ones (hey, they're in B'Ham) but man were there some bad ones.....but ya got to love the 50 year old Miss Sunshine....honest to goodness I almost wet myself! On to LA tomorrow....
