Paula seems a bit hyper. I suspect foreign substancesSpeaking of Paula, the second day in Birmingham, Seacrest says that she had to go back to LA for a "family obligation." Seacrest sounded suspicious of this--so do I :)
First girl has hair down to the FLOOR! And so does her mom!
Simon and Randy can't get over that hair. They seem like nice ladies.
Victoria auditions beside mom.
Simon: "It was a daughter-to-mom audition, meaning only your mom would like it."
Randy: "I gotta say no, but the hair on both of you is hot."
Victoria cries. Hugs her dad. She wasn't a bad singer--clearly not the worst of the day. If Paula had been there she might have conviced the others to vote her through

Considering some that they have sent to Hollyweird, they should have let cousin "It" through.

"People say I can sing."
People LIE!

Will the contestants who don't get to have 3 judges sue for unfair judging??? I guess they couldn't find anyone to sit in the third chair. Weird. One week they have 4 judges and this day only 2.

Is anyone watching the Grease auditions? There are some great singers in that bunch.

LOL.
Now showing all the "polite" Southerners thanking Simon and Randy for telling them how horrible they are.....
This is NOT New York for sure.
Oh this next one looks like she will be a doozy - good!

Considering some that they have sent to Hollyweird, they should have let cousin "It" through. I would have liked to hear her sing another song. Certainly better than some they sent on to Hollywood.
To: Poser
LOL - I haven't seen one flamer yet. There has to be one or two. I miss the he/she from last season.

Next girl: Lakia? Lactatia?
Horrible singer.
Simon: "You're the worst we've heard in Birmingham."
Girl says "Thank you" to that, which surprises Randy and Simon (manners surprise them, I guess, after the freak show in Seattle).
A montage follows of one rejected contestant after another telling them "Thank you."
Randy and Simon can't believe it.
