What keeps McCellan from taking off his shoe and throwing it at these people?! I'd last a nanosecond in that job. They keep badgering him about the EXACT time of everything. They're pissing over a few hours!

And sometimes you should just say "our bad" and take the lumps.B..b..b...but that might reflect poorly on He Who Shall Remain Blameless...
Nope, if it ain't scripted in the talking points, it ain't gonna fly.
You oughta know that by now.

This isn't newsworthy in the least, and certainly the timeline involved has absolutely no relevence It is newsworthy and I don't have a problem with reporters asking questions and about the time line
BUT .. these pack of wolves in the WH Press were making fools of themselves with their line of questioning
They are acting like this was a terrorists attack and that the VP point blank pointed the gun at the guy and shot him .. which is NOT what happen
It is also safe to say that these nit wits know nothing about hunting

While I've heard of plenty of people getting peppered with birdshot (albeit some needing to go the ER to prevent infection, etc.), no one who I know that's been peppered has ever needed surgery or had internal organs penetrated.

Maybe instead of sitting on it, they were dealing with it, and showing some consideration for the victim and how he wanted it handled.

Why is it the job of Cheney's staff to tell any newspaper everything he does? Didn't reporters have to move around and work for a living rather than get the news spoonfed to them?

'That said'. . .and I forgot to ask. .
. . .anyone know if Cheney shot the Quail?
Missed that question in the press conference. . . /sarc.

Why is it the job of Cheney's staff to tell any newspaper everything he does? Because the can't get off their fat rears to actually find the news out themselves?

Can you just image the stories the press would have come up with it they had gotten a press release with limited information because it was unknown at the time? The mind boggles!
To: go-ken-go
McCellan is the wrong person for this job. Drives me crazy to watch him talk to the press.---
