I am not sure she is going to have one at this point.. I truly pushed for a media event.. in Natalee's home town ... but for some reason... Beth seems to be backing down.. but then, we still don't know the real story...

Latest is the Beth is going back to Alabama for a quick trip then back to Aruba to pack up ... (this is hearsay!)

Perceptions:

Perhaps: the family is going under the radar to work on a second phase... Major media blitz...

Perhaps: Beth and Jug have another major move that needs to be planned with some affiliates in Alabama...

Perhaps: Beth and Jug know that more legal processes are going on and they want to give the Aruban system another working chance..

Perhaps: What Jug was referring to as "unknown information - he was to disclose at some point".. was really the date rape/video/drugs that was exposed during the recent rash of arrest... which upstaged any info he may have.. so he has nothing at this point to present...

Perhaps: Beth and Jug have had just as much as they can take.. and they are both going to try to make some sense of their lives... with Beth spending some time writing her book...

They have to be totally exhausted.. and undergoing major disappointment in tandem with broken hearts...

I am personally so disgusted with Aruba and the Netherlands that I can't even express it.. my prayers and hopes for comfort are solid.. for the family and especially for Natalee..

TexKat, Canadian Outrage, No Surrender.. all.. for keeping me in the circle... I appreciate your personal sustainability.. if I had to chose three people that I would like by my side in case of chaos and evil.. you would be it!

It was awful to watch, but of course they weren't walking very fast, and he was just lying on his back, getting dragged.

They didn't mean to do it, they just didn't notice.

Poor little guy.

I too am glad Canada finally got off it's butt sent some help. I agree with your entire post. Please ping me to the Katrina thread. I can probably find it tho. I have been watching the news and of course readings Darlin' updates. She posted some good ones today on DD. She and her church have been helping non stop. This is going to be one gargantuan undertaking to restore New Orleans.!! CO

Thanks so much Fritzy. But let's keep our options open too. Maybe Beth and Jug just need to rest and take stock. Perhaps they have other plans as you say. I think we'll see. Strangely enough, I think it was Friday night, I was talking to my daughter on the phone and O'reilly was on I think, and I saw Natalee's picture and he was talking to somebody. I had to turn the TV down tho as I was on the phone so I didn't hear the report. I was surprised actually that it was on O'reilly!!

Yes, thankfully the little guy will be safe tonight. The older lady was eating cold soup out of a can and Geraldo said she really had nothing left. Perhaps the dog was in need of food and water also.

I think they DO have more knowledge than we do. Why did Beth KNOW Natalee was in the VDS home? What were the oral translations they were told that were damning that night (of what was said around them in Papiamentu)? What about that shred of Natalee's shirt? What in detail were the phone calls possibly made by Natalee that night? How did Beth know that one or more people raped Natalee while she lay helpless (drugged)? Why did Jug always say, "This is way bigger than Natalee"?

We were 4 this morning, 8 cats tonight! Our little Popoki has had her kittens. I was the midwife and cut 3 of the cords. It was beautiful. 5 people were crowded in the maternity ward (my closet) watching.

Great post Yaelle. And yes, I recall Jug making those comments. This was corruption and collusion and coverup running like a well oiled machine. However, I doubt they ever expected the Alabama possee and Beth and the media blitz. The media blitz along with Beth has really led to a real outrage that stretches far beyond Aruba and Alabama. The Lord will solve this yet!!

The L-rd has solved it, but WE earthlings need to so Beth can know that her precious baby gets justice. I realize so many people have been lost this week down South but this Mama knows that her baby was raped and murdered by people who meant to do her harm.

No way did Aruba expect the Twitty/Holloway/Susteren machine. And I don't care how "bored" some of the American public said they were with the coverage. It got corrupt officials dancing the two-step. I doubt it would have turned out so badly if it weren't for the devastation of Katrina. G-d bless the family and may we see justice done somehow.

Dusty is a very old dog as I heard her say earlier today, and he simply was either worn out or wanted to stop for a minute or just couldn't walk fast though they weren't going fast at all.

He somehow got down on the ground and was on his back, and they just kept walking, pulling him while he was just lying there. I couldn't stand to watch it! They didn't even notice. Well, at least he was rescued along with his friend, and will probably be fine in a while.

I did not see the footage, but my husband did. He said it was Geroldo pulling the dog, and that Fox cut that part of the clip later. I am sure he did not notice and did not mean to drag the dog.

Natalee’s Aunt Linda Allison Speaks Out Regarding the Recent Events In Aruba

I spoke with Linda Allison, Natalee Holloway’s aunt, yesterday regarding the most recent events that have taken place in aruba; the release of Joran Van der Sloot, the Kalpoe brothers and Beth’s decision to come back home to Alabama . She told me the following:

“I am hopeful that charges will still be brought against the three suspects”

“It is a depressing and confusing situation for the Kalpoe brothers to be rearrested one week along with Joran friend’s Freddie one week and then be dealt with the setback of them all being released the following week”.

“I have spoken with Dave and we are more determined than ever to find more information, more evidence and more witnesses against these suspects that can bring light on Natalee’s disappearance.”

On 9-4 “CNN” reported, “The prosecutor’s office said it would appeal.” “The attorneys for the Kalpoes said they had not read the terms of the release order, but a prosecutor said there were conditions. He did not say what they were.”

On 9-4 the “AP” reported that BETH said she is leaving ARUBA. “I will never allow my daughter’s voice to be silenced, but I have exhausted all my avenues in Aruba,” BETH said. BETH says she will visit ARUBA frequently, and will “never allow” her daughter’s voice to be silenced. On 9-4 TILLMAN was pictured with BETH packing their luggage in preparations to leave ARUBA.

On 9-4 ANITA told the “AP” in a telephone interview, “We’re looking at the options. We’re taking it easy, day by day.”
