I will never spend one thin dime in Aruba. Ever.

My own personal boycott.

shebacal - I'm going to email each and every one of them also. PLEASE FOLKS, do the same. Greta's ratings were through the roof when she covered this story. Some of these MSM outfits make no sense. I understand covering such a horrendous National Disaster but it is becoming a redundant story. Each day's news is becoming almost the same as the last days news. My husband said yesterday, I have seen THAT story and THAT footage at least SIX times this afternoon!!

They don't have a parole system NOR do they have a Justice system. This is as pathetic as it gets. I recall saying a couple of days ago that Joran would be out of jail off to Holland as fast as a bird can fly out of a cage.

You may be right on. There are those folks in Aruba who may well be working behind the scenes. I do NOT believe that Beth's perservance will be in vain. Somehow, someway, these guys are going to slip up. Somehow, some way, God just may reveal where Natalee's remains are. If nothing else, God will see to it that these people including Paulus Van der Sloot WILL BE PUNISHED!!

The same here. I'm so angry I don't have words to express it. I know what I would like to see happen but it wouldn't be legal.

Isn't that picture heartbreaking? Beth looks absolutely drawn and so very very thin!! This is a total DISGRACE and such a TRAVESTY. It's DUTCH, what can I say. A Nation absolutely DEVOID OF ANY MORALITY!!

To: TexKat; All
I'm not sure if I'm on your ping list, but just in case, please add me. As time goes on, I will be following Beth and Dave as they pursue answers, and justice, whatever that may be.

On an OT note, we spent the afternoon delivering supplies to our Convention Center for NO refugees. There are no words to describe how numb so many are, while at the same time, others are so relieved to just be alive, in a cool, safe clean location. This is a time of such great need and some of it could be sitting in each of our homes not being used: shirts, pants, shoes, shorts, etc just in drawers/closets never being worn.

Please look around and see what you might have, bag it "women's clothing" "boys clothing", etc (children's books, toys, stuffed animals) and take it to one of your designated locations.

One last note: they are rescuing animals, and donations especially to Houston's SPCA would be most welcome. Our local Town Lake apparently is going to do the same, but Houston is taking the lead and I actually trust them more:

http://www.spcahouston.org/spcahouston/Default.asp

Houston SPCA has received more than 600 animal victims of Hurricane Katrina. On Sunday morning, they received 263 canines and felines from the Louisiana SPCA. On Thursday, they accepted almost 400 animals from refugees at the Houston Astrodome and Reliant Arena.
I had a very upset child earlier this week, as she was worried about a dog she had seen on TV, that it wouldn't be rescued. I know it might not be the #1 concern, but for some of those being rescued, their pet might be all they have left.

Evening CO,
First, I am glad to see Canada sending some assistance to help the hurricane vics. It reminds me of the Canada I knew long ago.

So we see, the canine and equestrian show has concluded in Aruba. Four murderers were protected from justice and the Prosecutor went along, to get along the entire duration.

Maybe in the near future I may meet some Arubans in
one of my gentleman's club. I will promptly walk up to the D.J. obtain the mike and report, Ladies and Gentleman we have some Arubans visiting us tonight. Let give them the welcome they really deserve, for Natalee and the Holloway family.

The time for turning the other cheek has passed and a strong message must be sent to Aruba/Dutch Untermenchen.

CO, I hope you will come on over to the Katrina threads and join the fight there also.

Wishing you the best.
Sincerely,
NSNR_CSAOTL

she says she has ‘exhausted all my avenues’

This just breaks my heart. Through all of this I have resisted a stereotype of the Dutch area where I grew up. I don't know if they were the majority but culturally they seemed to dominate with an arrogance that proudly had them say, if you aren't Dutch, you aren't much. They were strongly influenced by their Dutch Reformed faith which apparently prohibits drinking on Sunday. Yet many of them would drink in their garages on Sunday. I am reminded by that...some Dutch can look you in the eye, with a rigid arrogance and swear their faithfulness to the laws of their land and church without thinking twice about going around them as needed.

I was actually kind of shocked when I read that on his tickle site. I had given the Kalpoes some points for at least looking somber...unlike many of the pictures of Joran coming and going from jail. That's, unfortunately, where most of my benefits of the doubts get me though :)

I was an SPCA President here for 5 years Rusty. After that I took my special constables course and became a Cruelty Inspector. I have seen my share of "Those who cannot speak for themselves". I too was worried about the animals that folks would have just abandoned. It is such relief to see what Houston is doing. I even watched a lady and her little dog Dusty rescued today. Your little girl is headed in the right direction, a love for animals. I can't tell you the number I have rescued. I am always, at all times, feeding stray cats. They find me. My latest one is actually one cat named Julius (Orange tabby) and he was behind the gym where I go. The girls from the local post office had him neutered and he's very tame. If none of us can find him a home by winter, my husband finally relented and said "I guess we'll take him". That makes my brood 4. It would have been 5 but lost a kitty last fall that I had actually brought home from Mexico in 1993. He was wonderful and beautiful. Absolutely a gorgeous cat. His name was Amigo. I honestly am thrilled to see the people and their pets rescued. I actually have a friend who lives just outside New Orleans. She has posted a lot of what is going on and she is actually very angry. She says that the media are NOT posting a lot of the good things that are going on right in the very area. Her screen name is Darlin'. You can look up her posts today on Dimensional Door Thread. CO

I even watched a lady and her little dog Dusty rescued today.

That reminded me. Just 5 minutes ago I was watching Fox, and they were showing a split screen of something, maybe the fallen helicopter on the one side, but the other side was that very same elderly woman and her little dog Dusty. She was walking on the arm of an older man, who was holding poor little Dusty's leash.

Dusty is a very old dog as I heard her say earlier today, and he simply was either worn out or wanted to stop for a minute or just couldn't walk fast though they weren't going fast at all.

He somehow got down on the ground and was on his back, and they just kept walking, pulling him while he was just lying there. I couldn't stand to watch it! They didn't even notice. Well, at least he was rescued along with his friend, and will probably be fine in a while.
