"Presently, we are conferring with attorneys as to possible legal action. We understand there are certain appeal processes available. The family wants to persue all possible charges against the individuals who we believe are involved, such as obstruction of justice, conspiracy and kidnapping."

I agree, and while the thread might slow down (understandably, and rightfully so) I think we should continue to show support, I don't think they will just go home now, and give up.

I've been informed there will be a press conference by Beth Twitty at 5 PM today at the Wyndham Hotel in Aruba.
As for press coverage of the released suspects, media is said to be being given a very short photo opportunity upon their release. The word on the street in Aruba is that authorities are also very sensitive to the actions of American media in this regard. Potentially, any perceived harassment of the suspects by media outlets could result in certain news organizations being forced to leave the island.

I'm with you, Fritzy. There are still 2 years for charges to be brought against the suspects. I don't think they will make it two years without problems. Since the prosecution was talking premeditated murder last week, there might be charges filed soon.

However I am/will still follow this case.
For me, and I am sure for Beth, the Twittys, the Holloways, and for everyone else that are demanding justice for Natalee Ann (Hootie) Holloway the fat lady has yet to sing.
Please let the Holloways and Twittys know that we are still here. Standing in support of them and their pursuit of their daughter.

On September 3 at 2pm, three suspects in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway will be released from prison as their detentions have been suspended until further notice.
Today the Head of Criminal Investigations Department Adolfo Richardson addressed the local and international media to provide a detailed release plan for Joran van der Sloot, Satish, and Deepak Kalpoe. With so much media attention on the suspects, the police are doing everything they can to assure public safety and order during tomorrow’s release.
Mr. Richardson made it very clear that neither the investigation nor the case is over. Joran van der Sloot, Satish, and Deepak Kalpoe are all still persons of interest and they can all still be called in for further questioning and rearrested if required.
Joran’s attorney, Antonio Carlo stated that the decision to release van der Sloot “only has to do with the pretrial detention. The primary condition is he has to remain available to police.”
Comments of Adolfo Richardson at the September 2 Press Briefing:
I am here today to present our logistical plan for the orderly release this Saturday of Joran van der Sloot, Satish, and Deepak Kalpoe.
We will have police perimeters established at the KIA corrections facility, the Kalpoe residence and the van der Sloot residence.
It is our goal to allow for access by all media to the principals and to have an orderly transfer from the facility to their homes and families.
So, this is our plan and we expect that you all will comply with our rules;
At KIA there will be a yellow door, they will exit there. A place is available for still and tape cameras. They will be escorted to a microphone area where questions can be asked by reporters. After questions are asked they will get into a car and be escorted by police units to their homes.
You will not be able to leave until the escort has left the prison grounds.
At the Kalpoe residence, there will be a police perimeter and a microphone location. It will be outside the home adjacent to the home. We ask that crews be in place and prepared for their arrival.
At the Van der Sloot home, there will be a police perimeter, and a microphone stand outside the fence of the home. No one will be allowed on the premises for any interviews except at the microphone location.
This is our approach to guarantee the safety of those released and to allow for all of your needs for interviews and pictures.
I cannot stress enough that we will not allow any one to violate these rules or get in the way of our plans. It is in everyone’s interest to comply with the plan.
I know you have many questions about the investigation going forward, and I cannot comment on any of it. The investigation continues and the case of Natalee Holloway is not concluded with these releases. We will do everything in our power to solve the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.
I look forward to your cooperation tomorrow, for a safe and orderly release.

Joran van der Sloot was released on the condition that he remain available to police investigators for questioning.
Van der Sloot was arrested June 9 along with two friends, Surinamese nationals Satish Kalpoe, 18, and Deepak Kalpoe, 21, on suspicion of involvement in Holloway's disappearance. All three have denied any connection to the disappearance.
Judge R. Smid on Friday ruled the Kalpoes were also to be freed Saturday under the same conditions.

Joran van der Sloot and the brothers, Satish Kalpoe, 18 and Deepak Kalpoe, 21, were released on condition that they remain in Dutch territory and be available to police for questioning.
Van der Sloot's lawyer, Richie Kock, said that the teenager would soon be going to university in Holland.
"Joran will be trusted to be on his own in Holland and to do as he pleases," Kock said. "We do not have a parole system."
Van der Sloot and the brothers were arrested June 9 on suspicion of involvement in Holloway's disappearance. All three have denied any connection to the disappearance.
Despite Saturday's releases, police insist the investigation into Holloway's widely publicized disappearance will continue.
"The investigation continues. The case of Natalee Holloway has not concluded with these releases," Adolfo Richardson, the police officer in charge, told The Associated Press on Friday.
But legal observers in Aruba say the release shows that the government had no case.
"The prosecution doesn't know what criminal act occurred — acts which might be murder, kidnapping, rape," said attorney Arlene Skipper, a legal observer of the case. "It is still a missing person case ... The prosecution has a strong suspicion of foul play but no proof of it ... If they had solid proof, they could close the case."
The missing teen's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, said Friday she was devastated by the news of the releases. The Holloway family have insisted that all three young men know what happened to the Alabama honors student, who vanished May 30 on the last day of a vacation to celebrate her high school graduation.
Holloway was last seen leaving a bar with van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers. Van der Sloot's parents have said they stand by their son's account that he was alone with Holloway on the beach the night she vansished but did not harm her.
Extensive searches on the Dutch Caribbean island have produced no sign of Holloway. Her family has often been critical of Aruban authorities' handling of the case, especially their ini
