The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long
B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.
D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.
D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.
G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located
D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives
F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.
C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

I think it's very possible and could explain why Juran will not tell the truth. Like Beth keeps saying - Juran knows what happened to Natalee.

Jun 16, 2005 - There is a local connection to the ongoing search for a missing Alabama girl in Aruba.
Natalee Holloway's biological father is a State Farm agent based in Meridian, Mississippi.
Dave Holloway has worked for State Farm for 20 years. According to a State Farm spokesman, e-mails are being circulated throughout the company by employees...

Good idea! That would be great! By the way, I have seen posts everywhere that it's a rumor that Lorenzo is PVDS son, which makes him Joran's half brother. I just read a comment on Riehl World posted today from someone living in Aruba saying that it's definitely not the truth.....that this person knows who Lorenzo's father was, and it isn't PVDS.
I read another post to say that Natalie was in contact or possibly had dinner with a Ruben Trapenberg, another DJ. Certainly don't know if that's the truth. Too many people possibly involved! I guess if anyone knew who or what to believe, this mystery would be solved.
My brain is frying from all of this reading and sleuthing....
Lorenzo is like a son to PVDS and like a son to Van Strateen also. Come out smelling like a rose.

Thanks, DeeDee. I keep feeling as though Beth knows something that keeps her going. The one thing that I keep going back to is that Beth told the State Police to call the FBI, that her daughter had been "kidnapped." I would not use those words unless something made me think so. I would say something has happened to her, or she is missing. Perhaps Natalee did call Beth on her cell phone asking for help. I was driving somewhere on June 1, and heard that on my car radio.

K.Jeanne, if you were doing 110 m.p.h. and the state troopers stopped you and you told them you were driving fast because your daughter was kidnapped, do you think they would believe you?
No. Not unless you had some evidence, some proof. Beth had a cell phone with her that had some information on it. The state troopers listened and took action immediately.

LVR is not a local drug dealer, he has not been involved in other tourist crimes. His name has come up in this case because someone like "stranger" is envious of him and called the police to make an anonimous tip. And so this "stranger" has kept Lorenzo's name posted on boards. You see him poppin' up everytime. GET A LIFE, 'stranger'. You sure are one!

Could you help us out? Go to Lorenzo's house..since you guys are so tight...and look for Natalee. Now don't call ahead, and make an appointment...say in ten days or so...cause you know how nice and tidy Lorenzo likes to keep the place...and he could'nt think of having unexpected guests. What is the name of that super stainfighting cleaner? "Evidence No More"?

M. O'BRIEN: Aruba's attorney general says the Natalee Holloway case could be prosecuted without a body. Investigators have no evidence that the missing teenager is dead. In fact, after a month of searching, not a single trace has been found.
Chris Lawrence, live once again for us in Aruba with the latest -- Chris.
CHRIS LAWRENCE, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, Miles, this kind of backtracks off what they said earlier. We were told it was almost unheard of for prosecutors to go ahead and prosecute a case like this without a body or a confession. Now prosecutors seem to be saying maybe that's not the case, and it all relates back to something that they heard under interrogation from the suspects. One of them told police, no body, no case, apparently referring to something that was told to him by the father of one of the other suspects. Basically, prosecutors say that Paul Van Der Sloot, the father of Joran Van Der Sloot, and the man who is also a judge and he knows the law here, told the suspects and coached them as to what could happen down the road, if, in fact, they were arrested.
Now, right now everything in this case is pointing to Monday, when all three will be back in court, and prosecutors will have to prove why they can detain them up to another 60 days.
If you look here, it's at exclusive video from CNN of Joran Van Der Sloot and Depak Kalpoe being led out of a police station together, they are handcuffed together.
Now the police commissioner says they were interrogated separately, and they've been interrogated almost every day. But when you look at some of those interrogations, the family of Natalee Holloway says, there's a lot more that these three are not telling.

DAVE HOLLOWAY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY'S FATHER: ... three kids, you know, if they were involved in foul play, could have disposed of Natalee in such a way that we couldn't find her. So that leads me to believe that possibly there's other people involved in the case, and until you prove or until somebody proves to me otherwise, I just got that feeling.

LAWRENCE: Again, prosecutors and police have at least the next couple of days to keep interrogating these three men. But after Monday, a judge will decide whether they can stay or they might just walk free -- Miles.

Who was it who was talking about Natalee doing drugs? I remember how angry we were w/this trashing of her. Then I got to thinking that perhaps saying that she was taking drugs was a just-in-case her body is found and tests show there were drugs in her system. THEN Joran could change his story once again and say that "something bad" happened....she passed out and then died and I was so scared that I didn't know what to do." Problem: who helped hide her and where? In this case would Joran be willing to go further or stone wall for another month?
We had a little rain, no storms, and we are back into double digits here. We can breathe now!!
The Dutch ambassador is trying to assure the American public that everything is being done to find Natalee Holloway on the island of Aruba. A message of sympathy and support has been posted on the embassy Web site. No trace of the Alabama teacher has been found -- teenager, I should say -- has been found in a month of searching.
Now, the chief prosecutor is saying she could make a case without recovering a body.
Ruben Trapenberg is a spokesman for the Aruban government.
Mr. Trapenberg, good to have you with us.
RUBEN TRAPENBERG, ARUBA GOVERNMENT SPOKESMAN: Good morning, Miles.
M. O'BRIEN: That appears to be a change based on what we've heard before, that a case could proceed without a body. And just on the face of it, the fact that the prosecutor is speaking is unusual, isn't it?
TRAPENBERG: It is unusual, yes. But I think after much of us requesting that and urging her on to give out more details, not details of the investigation. We do understand that she can't give out those details. But at least procedure and when expressions like that, that it couldn't be processed without a body, she should come out and address that and that's what they have done now.
M. O'BRIEN: We have a brief excerpt of her statement. She said: "There's been so much misinformation in the American press, I'm the lead prosecutor and I want to show that we're not a bunch of cowboys here."
What did she mean by that?
TRAPENBERG: Well, it's just that we get stories from the media. The positive is never reported. It's only the negative. They want to create a division. I know that keeps the news going. The last news again is from Senator Shelby. That has been handled because it -- we have proper rule of law here. It's a peaceful island, nice people and, you know, a number -- it doesn't matter how badly we are painted, we know who we are.
M. O'BRIEN: All right, let's talk about the way that the suspects are being handled. We have a piece of tape here which shows two of the suspects being transported. Now, we have been told, and you might have been among those people that have told us, that they're being held separately.
True? TRAPENBERG: Yes. They're being held separately. But there are occasions when either one or the other are confronted or the three of them could be put in front of each other so that investigators can get more detail.
M. O'BRIEN: OK. But having them together, does that sort of violate rules of procedure and investigation?
TRAPENBERG: No. They -- there is a special reason for doing so, Miles, believe me.
M. O'BRIEN: Can you explain why?
TRAPENBERG: It's part of the investigation, meaning the investigators have their techniques that they use to check the stories, see if they fit. If not, if two guys are put together, it's to find out more what they have to tell each other.
M. O'BRIEN: I see. But they could be squaring their stories, as well, I guess. I mean that's obvious, too.
TRAPENBERG: Well, absolutely. And there is a way to check that out.
M. O'BRIEN: OK.
The prime minister indicating that more Marines, Dutch Marines, might be on the way. We're talking a month into this now. Some would look at that and say why weren't the Marines called in in force much earlier.
TRAPENBERG: They were called much earlier. And, again, after 30 days, I guess a lot of people have forgotten that. They were there in the first few days. The FBI has been here from the beginning. But now people have seemed to have forgotten. And there was an official request for Marines. It's just that some people in the media started asking well, why aren't the Marines? Well, they did their job the first time. There is now a request from EquuSearch to assist them and they are being, you know, the Marines don't have to be flown in. They are on the island constantly.
M. O'BRIEN: Are there specific locations, specific information that the Marines will be acting upon?
TRAPENBERG: That's what they acted upon the first time. They checked out those specific locations. But now they have new requests by the EquuSearch team from Texas and that's who they are working with now.
M. O'BRIEN: Ruben Trapenberg, who is a spokesperson for the Aruban government.
