Thanks. That's only temporary, too, as I will apply for housing my first trip down to visit Hobbes. I just can't stay with my brother for very long.
My room is in the basement, and I have a tough time with my knees. (Old football injuries, ya know...)

You shouldn't have been playing around with them old footballs, you know. Very dangerous.
They could go at any minute.
Good luck!
"...They could go at any minute."
Er...it wasn't the footballs I was playing with. It was the football PLAYERS! We were playing Teakettle, and...
*ooops!*
Thanks!
I think I will be fine. I just have to GET there and the rest will fall into place. (Well, sorta...)
It's gonna be quiet around here in your enforced solitude, 'Face.
Make sure you have plenty of reading material.
Hey! How far to the library? In Mesa and in Tucson?
I have to get off here now, and I really don't want to. I most likely won't be on until sometime tomorrow morning.
Hopefully, I will be able to stay for a while.
I miss you all. ;o]
I don't know where the nearest library is to here, but I will find out when my brother and his wife get back.
I brought my TV and DVD player, but the cable in my room doesn't work, so I am a little disappointed. As for reading material...most of it is in storage in Tucson...*sigh*...however, I have something saved for moving in...;o] My "welcome home" gift to myself!
Take care, sweetie.
Bye for now, guys!
Even if I can't post, my heart is here!
Thanks!
I will!
*Just for you...*
Take care...
Dang.
Well, it's time for us to cast off from Edinburgh, as well.
Pilot, sound the two-minute warning! It's time to set sail for the sunset! We're Ireland bound.
*The signal sounds. Its meaning is clear, but for any who did not know about the signal, the revving of the jets, and the swelling of the huge balloon, indicated that departure was imminent.*
*Several people made hurried goodbyes to their short-time acquaintances as others hurried up the hillside. The assistant loadmaster urged them up the ramp and worriedly checked off names.*
Could she?
(Curious Smiley.)
-good times, G.J.P.(Jr.)
be sure to return when and as you are able
I think they just use fire hoses on the roads and rinse it into the storm drains.
The Ohio is a feeder into the Mississippi, they are both among the muddiest bodies of water on earth. Little bit more isn't going to hurt anything.
scottish? TuhRAYzuh? nahhh - she's CRAP.
Oh, that sounds like a good idea to help.
People with pools in this state use a version of that to fight fires.
Many own a gas pump that floats on the water of their pool. Usually fires cause water to be turned off or the pressure is low with fire fighters using it.
So pool water is used to water homes down in an ashy area.
Different purposed, but similar methods on different scales.
