7 Dead in High Speed Car Chase

This is breaking. A high speed chase around Sierra Vista and on to Ft. Huachuca has resulted in 7 deaths and 14 injuries.

A stolen car with 5 people inside led police on a high speed chase along the Highway 90 bypass and on to Ft. Huachuca at speeds in excess of 100MPH.

The stolen vehicle hit new barricades at the East Gate Checkpoint and crossed over the median, striking an outbound vehicle.

4 people in the stolen car have died, and 3 other people are also dead. 14 people are injured.

There are no further details regarding the 3 dead or the injured. As the story develops, I will try to post more.

Several other people inside the stolen vehicle, including the driver of the stolen vehicle, fled the scene on foot into the surrounding desert area.

I know some CHPs in Cal. They say you can always tell when illegal aliens are involved, they cause these brutal accidents, then leave the innocent, dead and dying, and just run off!

The mood here is getting very ugly as word spreads and families are notified. The nearest trauma center is 70 miles away in Tucson and that is slowing the process.

I spoke to a friend who passed the scene just after it happened and the first response teams arrived. She said it was nightmarish.

Thirty of my neighbors just had their lives change for the worse because of these scumbags.

It happened at one of the busiest intersections here.

Thr red star is just east of the main gate to Fort Huachuca. The red circle is the site of the crash.
