Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) supporters descended upon Hillary Clinton's Facebook page Friday amid a massive war between the two campaigns involving the Democratic National Committee(DNC). The Sanders fans are accusing Clinton and the DNC of being un-democratic as talk swirls that Sanders might run as an independent. Clinton and Sanders are meeting in New Hampshire Saturday for a weekend night debate. The DNC banned the Sanders campaign from accessing its computerized voter data after it was revealed that a Sanders digital staffer looked at private Clinton campaign information by exploiting a glitch in the system. In response, Sanders campaign manager...

He attacks Obama's co-opting of the DOJ for the advancement of leftism, not justice. Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey delivered a sharp criticism of the Obama Justice Department, particularly the DOJ Voting Section, in a speech republished in Hillsdale College’s Imprimis . In a broadside aimed at the Obama-era DOJ, Mukasey hits the department’s biased and partisan law enforcement policies. Mukasey’s speech should be required reading for every presidential campaign. Mukasey revisits the dismissal of the voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party by Eric Holder and other political appointees shortly after the 2009 inauguration: During the 2008...

[Video] Donald Trump recently came out with his proposal for a new tax plan. Every politician comes out with his own plans and proposals, but Jimmy wondered if voters pay any attention to the specifics. So we went out on the street and found people who claimed to support Hillary Clinton and asked those people about her tax plan. What they didn’t

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – State officials have launched Pennsylvania’s online voter registration system. The online registration application, hosted by the Department of State, is available for use by eligible citizens at register.votesPA.com. The new site also allows registered voters to easily update their voter record with a change of name, address or party affiliation, and voters may use the site to ask for help at their polling place. Governor Tom Wolf, who promised online registration when he ran for the office last year, said it will make the voting experience more convenient and accessible.

America’s next president could be eased into office not just by TV ads or speeches, but by Google’s secret decisions, and no one—except for me and perhaps a few other obscure researchers—would know how this was accomplished. Research I have been directing in recent years suggests that Google, Inc., has amassed far more power to control elections—indeed, to control a wide variety of opinions and beliefs—than any company in history has ever had. Google’s search algorithm can easily shift the voting preferences of undecided voters by 20 percent or more—up to 80 percent in some demographic groups—with virtually no one...

Dr. Robert Epstein says search results from Google influenced voters in a study (one in India and 4 experiments in the US). Clayton: Members of the study were presented with fake search results and then negative news stories were dropped into those results and it had a profound effect on the way in which they voted. Dr. Robert Epstein: When biased rankings are shown to people, if one candidate is made to look better than another, it shifts voting preferences of those voters who are undecided. It is a big shift. The biggest shift was in moderate Republicans. They are...

The Supreme Court effectively blocked an attempt by Arizona and Kansas to require voter ID after the high court declined to hear an appeal. By rejecting a joint appeal by the states, the high court left in place a November 2014 ruling by the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. That appeals court decided that the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, a federal agency that oversees changes to state voter registration procedures, was not required to grant the states' request that proof of citizenship be added to registration requirements. The Election Assistance Commission was established in 2002 to support and enforce...

There is a good reason liberal lawmakers and governors across the country are eager to pass laws allowing felons to vote. A recent study conducted by the Academy of Political and Social Sciences indicates that seven out of 10 convicts register as Democrats. The DFL-controlled Senate in Minnesota is leading the way with its recent passage of a bill allowing felons to vote while still on parole or probation. Proponents of changing the law are focused almost entirely on what they view as good for the felon rather than being concerned with the rights of law-abiding citizens. Proponents claim that allowing...

Real time reax… 1. That’s an insanely long slogan. Obviously, the result of a compromise between senior advisor Doug Stafford’s harem of super-passive aggressive, power-tripping female staffers… No strategerist in their right mind approves a slogan that long. 2. Team Rand trots out far-left RINO J.C. Watts to prove he’s not racist… 3. Another black guy. Team Rand, subtle as ever…

The Supreme Court on Monday turned down a challenge to Wisconsin’s voter ID law, which it had previously kept from going into effect before November’s elections. The court’s decision not to review a federal appeals court ruling that upheld the law was a victory for Gov. Scott Walker (R) and perhaps other states that have tightened voting procedures to require additional identification.

PORTLAND, Ore. (Reuters) - Sweeping first-in-the nation legislation making voter registration automatic in Oregon was signed into law on Monday by Governor Kate Brown, potentially adding 300,000 new voters to state rolls. The so-called Motor Voter legislation will use state Department of Motor Vehicles data to automatically register eligible voters whose information is contained in the DMV system, with a 21-day opt-out period for those who wish to be taken off the registry. Supporters say the legislation's goal is to keep young voters, students and working families who move often from losing their right to vote. Republican lawmakers, who unanimously...

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Pennsylvania senator says he plans to introduce a bill that would automatically register people to vote when they use the services of certain state agencies. Senator Vincent Hughes (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery) said his proposal would essentially change Pennsylvania’s voter registration system from an “opt-in” system to an “opt-out” system. Pennsylvanians currently may fill out voter registration forms when they apply for public benefits, services or licenses through the Department of Transportation and other state agencies. Under his proposed legislation, Hughes said the state agencies would automatically collect voting-related information with the application and electronically send it to...

Formed in 2005, the Minnesota Voters Alliance (MVA) is the only conservative organization in Minnesota, and one of a few in the nation, dedicated solely to expanding liberty through legal action, determined to strike at the liberal forces which degrade and reduce our freedoms. A critical component of that dedication is the ability to pursue an objective for as long as it takes to win. So, while we have achieved several recent victories in other cases, our commitment to changing Minnesota’s defective Election-Day Registration (EDR) laws continues in full force. Today, I am requesting your support for our impending lawsuits...
