The Daily Caller feels compelled to present our first, and hopefully last, review of the new version of CNN’s vaunted ‘Crossfire.’ For Review #1, we will focus on the show’s Monday debut starring President Obama’s 2012 deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and guests Sens. Rand Paul and Bob Menendez. To watch this latest incarnation of Crossfire is to confront, head-on, the defining unspoken reality of human existence: bad people like Stephanie Cutter can climb, in defiance of taste and public demand, to a position of success. A loathsome creature like Stephanie Cutter, the roots jutting...

This week marks twelve years since the al Qaeda terror attacks on America on September 11, 2001. It also marks the anniversary of a rally held the day after the attacks by anti-American leftist Anthony K. “Van” Jones in Oakland, California that cheered the attacks. CNN has made Jones, who went on to infamy as an Obama administration appointee, a co-host of the reboot of Crossfire that debuts this week.As the country reeled from the sneak attack that murdered nearly 3,000 people through the use of four passenger planes hijacked by terrorists under the orders of Osama bin Laden and...

A recent Van Jones tweet is getting a lot of “birther” comment responses. Love it….

Former Obama adviser Van Jones declared that “racism won” in the trial of George Zimmerman. “The verdict: racism won. #TrayvonMartin” Jones tweeted in the aftermath of the “not guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial. Jones was appointed to Obama’s cabinet in March 2009 as special advisor for green jobs, a newly created position. He is known as the co-founder of the nonprofit progressive advocacy groups Color of Change, which focuses on civil rights, and Green for All, which focuses on the environment. Colorofchange.org executive director Rashad Robinson released a statement calling the Zimmerman verdict “another tragedy for black...

It's official: CNN has announced that it will relaunch "Crossfire," its longstanding political debate show, this fall. As previously reported here, former Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and former Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter will both serve as co-hosts. Gingrich will be joined on the conservative side by S.E. Cupp, the MSNBC co-host, New York Daily News columnist and TheBlaze contributor; Cutter will be joined on the liberal side by Van Jones, a CNN contributor and former green jobs advisor to the Obama administration. “Few programs in the history of CNN have had the kind of impact on political...

Last week, members of the House of Representatives turned their attention to the biggest Obama scandal yet. No, I do not mean the IRS or Benghazi. Those are more partisan witch hunt than true scandal, a point backed up by recent CNN polling that shows independents and moderates trust the White House's take. This is the real scandal: President Obama said in his second inaugural address that failing to act on climate change would "betray future generations." Now, many expect that he is ready to do exactly that by approving the Keystone XL pipeline. Last week, the pro-Keystone House of...

Fox News chief Roger Ailes made headlines when an excerpt from an upcoming biography included quotes of him deeming President Obama “lazy,” Vice President Joe Biden “dumb as an ashtray,” and Newt Gingrich a “prick.” In an interview with Howard Kurtz on The Daily Beast, Ailes said he’s not backing away from the statements for one simple reason: They’re “true.” “Are every one of those statements true? Yes,” Ailes told Kurtz. “Should I have said them? Well, that’s a debate.” When Ailes saw his remarks printed, he “looked at it and thought, someone’s made outrageous statements about our leaders, and...

Here's an easy way to tell when your position isn't a conservative one. When you're standing with Van Jones, your position isn't a conservative one. When you're standing with Code Pink, then your position is not a conservative one. No amount of noise or chest-beating is going to change that.

Sen. Marco Rubio’s delivery of the GOP response to the State of the Union shows he’s a force the Democrats must reckon with, says former White House advisor Van Jones. The Florida Republican poses a “dangerous” political threat to Democrats because of his keen ability to emotionally connect with voters, Jones said.

It’s a bad omen for free enterprise, prosperity and liberty when normally warring special interest groups such as big business and progressive activists agree on public policy. During President Obama’s first term big business interests led by the pharmaceutical industry joined the union lobby in successfully making ObamaCare the law of the land. Shortly after Obama’s re-election, history may be repeating itself this time regarding energy policy. While it’s known that politics makes strange bedfellows none can be more bizarre than former White House green jobs czar Van Jones and Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson agreeing on a carbon tax....

..... Mr. Jones claimed,"I hear a lot about liberty now from the so-called libertarians and they say the only thing that matters in America is liberty. That's what they say. They say America has only one value: liberty. Economic liberty. My economic liberty and if you stand for any other value you're anti-American. And they've taken their despicable ideology, and they're using it as a wrecking ball that they've painted red, white, and blue to smash down every good thing in America."[SNIP]In the novel The Fountainhead,Ellsworth Toohey says,"If you learn how to rule one single man's soul, you can get the...

A doctor charged Saturday with possessing a large quantity of chemicals used in bomb-making spent 15 years on the staff of a Manhattan hospital until he was fired in 2006 for refusing to submit to a psychiatric evaluation when a nurse accused him of stalking her, court records show. Roberto Rivera, 60, was charged with recklessly creating a risk of widespread injury or damage after federal and local authorities found precursor chemicals used in the making of explosives in the basement of a Ridgewood house, Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said in a release Saturday afternoon. Rivera was being held...

A man suffered serious burns Friday night when a suspect threw a Molotov cocktail-type device at him while he waited for his father outside a Long Beach market. The attack happened around 7 p.m. in the 200 block of Pacific Coast Highway, said Long Beach police Sgt. Aaron Eaton. Investigators who examined surveillance video learned that a man believed to be in his 20s wearing light-colored clothing ran out from an alley and threw a bottle with an unknown flammable liquid in it, Eaton said. ``It landed at the feet of the victim and caused him to catch on fire,''...

During the second half of the 4PM Eastern hour on CNN's "Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer," Obama's former Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, referred to GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney as a "douche" twice -- on the air. The moment came during a political panel hosted by CNN's senior political analyst Gloria Borger. Other panelists included former Bush White House spokesman Ari Fleischer and former GOP Congressman JC Watts. The discussion surrounded Obama's dwindling advantage with women voters.

Recently, The Daily Caller released an unedited video of America's First Foreign Born President, Barack Hussein Obama, giving a speech (in what Ann Coulter accurately calls his "Malcolm X voice") at Hampton College in 2007. In this video, the future Chairman Obama yapped about a lot of things, from accusing the US government of letting black folks suffer during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to how wonderful Jew hater Jeremiah Wright is. In short, it was a glimpse into the evil and hatred that makes up the former Barry Soetoro. Now, for most Conservatives, much of what was revealed wasn't...

The split screen told the story -- when Mitt Romney was speaking, President Barack Obama was looking down; when Obama was speaking, Romney was looking at the president. "It has killed jobs," Romney said during Wednesday's debate about the politically charged health care law pushed by Obama. "Obamacare, the Congressional Budget Office has said, will cost $2,500 a year more than traditional insurance." Romney looked at the crowd, moderator Jim Lehrer and even Obama during the exchange. Obama, on the other hand, looked down, shook his head and sporadically looked at his Republican adversary. The directness in that one exchange...

Van Jones says this year "feels like a fear election" in which both sides are afraid of each other. Jones says he is confident that people will "rally back" to Obama because they realize that he is a president that "at least tried." "Well, it's definitely a different election," Jones said on MSNBC this morning. "But the last time it was a big hope election, this time it feels more like a fear election; both sides afraid of what the other side will do. But I think what's going to happen, and you're seeing it happen already, people are starting...
