Crossfire Review #1
The Daily Caller ^ | Sept. 10, 2013 | Patrick Howley

Posted on 09/10/2013 12:43:21 AM PDT by Cincinatus

The Daily Caller feels compelled to present our first, and hopefully last, review of the new version of CNN’s vaunted ‘Crossfire.’ For Review #1, we will focus on the show’s Monday debut starring President Obama’s 2012 deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and guests Sens. Rand Paul and Bob Menendez.

To watch this latest incarnation of Crossfire is to confront, head-on, the defining unspoken reality of human existence: bad people like Stephanie Cutter can climb, in defiance of taste and public demand, to a position of success.

A loathsome creature like Stephanie Cutter, the roots jutting out from her blonde dye job as black as the recesses of her soul, can push her way onto national television to sit next to a former Speaker of the House and two sitting U.S. senators. A charmless, dead-eyed, tacky sociopath with no sense of ethics, an empty shell spewing her flat-throated bile without the slightest trace of self-awareness, can beat all of us to the front of the Darwinian line.

The scumbag who produces Crossfire, David Chalian, is a Democrat operative.
I don’t know why a Republican would go anywhere near that pile of crap. I certainly will never watch it.

Come on Patrick, don’t sugar coat it. Tell us how you really feel.!

Sounds like Cutter is a vapid, sociopath that somehow got elevated waaaay beyond her abilities.

Perfect match for Zer0.

absolutely hideous.

Menedez won’t shut up.

Newt is cut off by this rude imposter, and she is gleefully rubbing in that Obama forced the Russians to cave in to dissolving chemical weapons etc.

I sat and thought, how naïve can these people be.

So, Obama is the hero tomorrow? They have no cue who they are dealing with.

Not one person at the table could articulate what is really going on other than Newt voicing some skepticism.

Get her the hell off of there. A cheap political hack if there ever was one.

I watched Crossfire back in the day; it had strong advocates on both sides.

CNN has gone off the deep end, though.

Don’t think they can persuade me to ever come back unless they truly go fair and balanced.

I was a regular viewer of 'Crossfire' in the early '90s, before there were any alternatives. I hated the yelling, screaming, and crosstalk format, but it was the only place on TV where you could catch a glimmer of conservative comment, (when you could hear it over the ever present noise). I stopped watching, for good, when Fox became available on my cable, and actually mostly tuned out when I could listen to Fox over my dial up modem.

How the idiot managers at CNN think they can restore their audience with the same format as before when there are dozens of alternatives on the internet is beyond belief.
