  • What the Bible says about sexual relations is not "hate"

    Faith Presses On
Secular humanists are starting to step up their direct attacks on the Bible. Many are openly calling what it says about sexual relations "hate," and they especially want young people to accept that. What secular humanists aren't bringing up, though, is that in pre-modern societies, without modern medicine especially, "sexual liberation" would have meant drastic increases in incurable diseases and ailments. It doesn't even take any faith in God to see that it isn't hate to command people not to do what would cause them and others physical harm. This is a summary review of the matter of secular humanists...
  • Cruz....NY is loveless for you & nasty remarks about New Yorkers (Vanity)

Ted Cruz got a taste of his own medicine in New York City yesterday. The people and voters of New York City & New York State have no use for Mr. Cruz and his sadistic, hateful nasty remarks about New York State, New York City & New Yorkers. IMHO....Ted Cruz would be better off if he avoided being In New York at all. He is going to receive, rightfully so, the disgust treatment from all New Yorkers. He knows nothing about the great state of New York. He knows nothing about our great, best in the world, Police, Firemen, First...

Rudyard Kipling wrote a prescient poem in 1919, called "Gods of the Copybook Headings.". This is, simply put, a must-read poem. Copybooks were texts that allowed British schoolchildren of the time to practice penmanship, and the phrase they would copy -- often a phrase of a sermon, or some wise aphorism -- would be featured on the copybook heading. Kipling was appalled by the counterintuitive modern thoughts of the day, and wrote the poem to point out how eons of wisdom and experience of humankind were hard-won, and he urged us not to embrace the depraved 'shortcuts' we began to...

PayPal sits on remittances for up to a month, money they use as Float on the back of small merchants and businesses. PayPal is a nuisance. Don't use PayPal. Sorry to WCPE listeners who aren't leftists, your station is great, North Carolina is a great state despite UNC Raleigh-Durham. Take back your country.

Who is “Economy in Crisis”? According to their “Who We Are” page (1), only the following three people are named: a 9/11 Truther, a radical left-wing Air America personality and a regular Huffington Post contributor. If you disagree with those sources, you may wish to reconsider the general validity of this article. Here are the people listed on the “Economy in Crisis” “Who We Are” page: ------------------------------------------------- PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS - 9/11 TRUTHER (2): Roberts comments on the “scientific impossibility” of the official explanation for the events on 9/11. On August 18, 2006, he wrote: I will begin by stating...

I've only recently become a Trump supporter. I was leaning toward Cruz, but couldn't go with him when he decided to collude with the GOPe, fully knowing (I have to imagine) that there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hell they would pick him in a contested convention. It's obvious that the GOP has decided to self destruct. Their disregard for conservatives and their complete disdain for the middle and working class has turned my stomach. I've turned in my membership. I'm finished for good with the Republican Party. I've decided to go Independant from this point forward, and I've gotten...
  • Reince Priebus Attacks Trump....Silent On Cruz & Kasich (Vanity)

Yesterday, on national TV, Reince Priebus the RNC Chairman openly attacked Donald J. Trump on his failure to stand by Trump's "Party Loyalty" oath to commit to supporting the GOP POTUS nominee. But, Priebus failed to mention that both Ted Cruz & John Kasich have openly backed away from exactly the same pledge weeks before Trump joined them. IMHO....Priebus should be forced to resign for his direct of unfairness towards a fellow Republican candidate....that being Donald J. Trump, and openly giving a pass to both Ted Cruz & John Kasich. IMHO.....Reince Priebus is just another loyal, active member of the...

This is my message to the GOP. Ignore trump voters at your peril. Keep saying that nominations are done by delegates not constituents. Keep saying that rules have not been yet made for this convention as even when made they won't matter to my ilk. Earlier Limbaugh had a guest that asked why Trump or any other candidate wouldn't just support the nominee. Rush in his wisdom stated he wouldn't worry too much about the nominees, but rather Trump's legion of voters. Aye, if Trump gets a majority and doesn't get the nomination I'll be writing him in.

As I watched Sarah Palin deliver a speech on behalf of Donald Trump the other day before an GOP establishment fundraiser in Wisconsin, I was struck by the enthusiastic response of the crowd. She received a standing ovation at the end. Ted Cruz, who followed her on the dais, received only light and intermittent applause. The contrast in their political skills was stark. Palin was the star who knew how to connect with, and hold, her audience. Cruz, not so much... Let me say at the outset that I am analyzing this from a purely utilitarian and political point of...

I watched The Trump rallies yesterday held in various cities & towns in Wisconsin, and get the feeling the average Joe and Jane primary voter are really upset and ticked off at the Media, the Pundits, the GOP (E), Ted Cruz, John Kasich, The DEmocrat Party Establishment, etc. and are about to send a "backlash" message to all these folks...that they have gone over the cliff in their hate and envy of Donald J. Trump. I shall follow events today and tomorrow as Trump, etc. continues his pro-active trek through the great state of Wisconsin, seeking its primary victory or...

KGO which is basically the affiliated liberal side of the same KSFO – KGO radio family (“sister stations”) is in the middle of massive firings and shakeups. KGO changed their format a long while back, the stalwart of liberal talk didn’t work and their ratings dropped, with the exception of course of the longtime KGO talk host Ronn Owens who does have a dedicated audience and instead he has now moved over to KSFO taking Mark Levin’s slot. Mark Levin has been taken off his current live 3pm to 6pm slot, and instead for now put into a “red hear”...

This is my first Vanity post in over 16 years as a Freeper, so cut me some slack. Google, Bloomberg, Washington Post, Fox News and USA Today all say that Trump now has 736 delegates and Cruz has 463. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#safe=off&q=republican+primaries+results http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/graphics/2016-delegate-tracker/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/2016-election-results/us-primaries/ http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2016/presidential-primary-caucus-results http://www.usatoday.com/pages/interactives/elections-results-primaries-2016/#/ NYT says that Trump has 735 and Cruz has 461. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/elections/primary-calendar-and-results.html Here on FreeRepublic, I have seen posts with delegate counts all over the board. Can anyone point me to a definitive site with the actual delegate counts (and not sites that you like best or that show what you want the count to be)?

I’ve resented anyone telling me how I should live my life since I was a teenager. I’ve always felt that you should be free to destroy yourself with alcohol, drugs, sex or gambling, just don’t require me to support the disasters that result. Any obligation I have in that regard comes from my relationship with God, not from any contract drawn up by man. I waited for 16 years from Barry Goldwater’s defeat to Ronald Reagan’s victory for a supposedly true conservative to take over the Oval Office. In the meantime, I had to make due with William F. Buckley’s...

Trump's promise to build a Great Wall across America's southern border is the cornerstone of today's movement to take back our country from the corrupt leaders on Wall Street and in our government.  But Trump's call for a defensive perimeter extends far beyond mere physical walls.  It's also about the right to protect our private property from the greedy hands of the leftists.  Wrapping some deeper thinking and images around the concept of Walls is what this story is about. Many thanks to FReeper tinyowl for inspiring many of these thoughts.   Let's first take a look at protective...
  • RNC Can Change The 1237 Rule At The Convention

In case anyone is unaware: All this talk about "1237 delegates means Trump is the nominee" is BUNK. That so-called "rule" is a temporary rule that can be changed at the convention. Therefore, Trump is not guaranteed the nomination even if he gets 1237, or 1400, or even 2000 delegates. They can change the rule to suit their #NeverTrump plan, and make the requirement 1 delegate more than however many Trump has. On the O'Reilly Factor tonight, Eric Bolling confirmed this. There are 42 convention rules in the rule book. Rules #26 through #42 are Temporary Rules that are written...

A Catholic perspective: A woman who commits an abortion is excommunicated from the Church. There are serious consequences to abortion, from God's perspective. We want to punish people who commit murder, steal, etc. Then why is it that only Trump can correctly state that women who procure abortions should be punished. Why is it that prolifers often treat the woman as a victim? Real victims don't get excommunicated from the Church. You don't hear about rape victims getting excommunicated. Why did Trump sound the most Catholic and the most conservative of everyone? Why is Trump the only one who says...
