Thanksgiving weekend is very traditional in my house; Thanksgiving morning we go to the Macy’s Parade (19 years running) then Friday I take my oldest into the city for shopping on black Friday. What do y'all think about the riots in Ferguson? Rocks, bottles, bricks, Molotov cocktails thrown. Stores looted and burned. Private property destroyed. Cars burned. Churches burned. Smoke, tear gas. As we see rioters destroying downtown Ferguson and demonstrating in other cities, it occurs to me that the time is ripe for Republicans to offer their solutions to inner city problems. Has anyone known of anybody being deported? In all my time in CA I have never heard of anyone being deported other than for a criminal offense or after having served time for a criminal offense. Even when stopped for misdemeanor offenses, they are always let go. I have heard of people returning home to Mexico to visit and being unable to get back across the border, but I have never heard of an otherwise law abiding illegal being deported.
