Debt Ceiling I hear reference to the number of debt ceiling increases as the main factor when comparing presidents. I usually hear that Reagan raised the debt 18 timed. A little research at the Office of Management and Budget web site reveals this is true. The debt ceiling spreadsheet data is from 1940 to the present. I just found out some information today that enlightened me as to why Rand Paul has endorsed Mitch McConnell. McConnell's Campaign Manger, Jesse Benton, is part of the Paul family. He is married to Ron Paul's grand daughter and Rand Paul's niece. I wonder if Mitch hiring Rand's nephew-in-law was part of the deal for Rand's endorsement? I am so old I recall the gay movement starting off with it's no one's business what occurs in the bedroom. And they did not want to be an in your face movement. Well , we now see that what occurs in the bedroom is now demanding to occur in public and they are very much an in everyone's face movement. Time for push back. I hope (This being my first) that I have posted this correctly? I saw the commentary by Liz Trotta on Fox this morning and was was amazed at the extent to which she was able to cover 'almost' every aspect of America's decline (the why's and how's) in just a few short minutes!
