American, Warrior, Patriot, and Conservative -- Allen West 2016
Vanity ^ | 10 March 2014 | areukiddingme1

I like what Allen West said;

"What I saw missing from CPAC was an understanding that Americans hunger for a particular image. Americans thought Obama possessed it — an image of concerned and caring leadership. It is an image that exemplifies the best of America and reflects the triumph of the indomitable American individual spirit.

It does not spring from numbers and detailed calculations. It is conveyed by someone Americans believe they can invite into their homes who cares for them and their future. The image should not be of someone who offers handouts, but if there is no compelling alternative, voters willingly lower their standards and fall for the giver of gifts.

My mom taught me that “self-esteem comes from doing estimable things.” and sitting home in Section 8 housing waiting for a “gubmint” check ain’t promoting self-esteem. Conservatives need someone who honestly reflects what America is and what she can be as we restore this Republic. Someone who can explain in simple terms a vision of growth, opportunity, and prosperity — not shared — but policies and conditions that create the pursuit of happiness — not the false promise of guaranteed happiness."

Okay, so we have heard that Rand Paul stole the show at CPAC among the young and the restless and Krispy Kreme gave a "nice" speech but how about America look to the warriors of our nation as the relief for the RINO's and the lefties -- I am sick and damn tired of this country electing people willing to sell this country out -- Does anyone, anyone at all think that Allen West would sell his country out, because if you do you had better go back and read his bio -- He is 100% warrior, patriot, American and willing to fight and stand up for what he believes in. It is time we elect someone president that has been tested in the heat of battle and did the right thing when the politically correct thing would have been ok...Damit, we need a Patriot in charge of the nation. I can assure you that if Putin were to look into Allen West's eyes, Putin would blink, hell, I think he would run, we all know that when Putin looks into boraks eyes, he sees fear and smells frear.

To bad he was gerrymandered out after only 2 years. He needs a little more experience.

Great post. Thank you. Allen West exudes strength, leadership and morality. He is the polar opposite of Obama. Obama represents the disease. West represents the cure!

“He needs a little more experience.”

He has a whole of a lot more experience than the current resident...He damn sure couldn’t make things worse.

Who is your candidate and please, being very specific, explain why his or her experience is superior to Allen West’s, who has actually led men in battle and whose decisions directly affected life and death?

Of course he’s a gazillion times better than the POSOTUS. My concern is making it through the primary then the general without enough experience to shut up the MSM. The candidate will have enough hurdles to jump over. Does not need another.

I see his lack of political experience will be a constant distraction. The MSM does have quite a bit if influence.

I’m looking at Rand Paul and Cruz. Possibly Palin. I would and will vote for west if he makes it to the general and considering the field possibly the primaries. Have to see how it all shakes out.

Cruz is out there daily saying the right thing.

West is a good man. I support anything he wants to do and if I could, would vote for him.

However, since we are nit-pickers 'round here, lemme add, I did not appreciate his refusal to enthusiastically fight blatant election fraud when he lost his election.
I did not appreciate his ... admittedly feeble and short-lived ... attempts to cozy up to the Rove faction in the RNC.
Off the record, he says he supports Sheriff Joe's findings. Why not 'on the record?'
I also didn't think much of his stance on the Trayvon Martin matter. He's gotta realize he could appear in blackface and sing spirituals with a banjo, and still the low-end blacks are not going to go for him. Say what you have to say to them, Alan, and forget about it.

So, what's next for this guy?

I was ready for Herman Cain for a candidate. What the MSM did was more than reprehensible, it would have been called racist if a conservative news org did it to obummer.

Double standards, extreme voter fraud and one way streets are the facts of life in 21st century elections. We may have to fight more than with word to straighten out this crippled system.

Curious, what experience did Herman have other than the Fed and pizza, that West doesn’t have? Just curious

I would vote for West. Don’t get me wrong.

Cain is a strong capitalist presence. He set up a business empire and made a fortune. West was a government worker who excelled at his position as colonel in charge of many people also. But as a government worker his performances were in maintaining a government group, by it’s very nature loses money. Now I am sure his performance probably wasted less than most other government run organization.

Did I say I would vote for West? I repeat myself. I happen to like governors over Senators as presidential candidates. for the same reason I spoke of. Governors are responsible for getting states through economic streights without having to tax the popace into poverty. Senators cut pork for other states while getting as much as they can for their constituents.

Now I’m rambling but perhaps you got my meaning and would not have a problem with West as president.

You're setting the bar very low. Why is West a better choice than Cruz or Palin or Perry?

Simple: Col. West, if elected to President, would make a GREAT Commander in Chief.

But what would make him a better president than any of the other men and women running?

I listed one key reason, and by implication several others derived from his exemplary Military Service; :
* Most senior Military Officer to be potentially elected since General Eisenhower;
* A demonstrated superior grasp of complex political issues such as race-baiting Democrats masquerading as being politically correct;
* A demonstrated superior calm, rational, approach to complex emotional issues.

What's wrong with looking at Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, together? Any conservatives taking away from their strength is only going to make an opening for a RINO.

Think of the campaign....if elected West could head the Dept of Defense and Palin the Dept of Energy. What a show of unity that and talent that would be!
