Texas lawmakers made carrying a concealed weapon in campus buildings legal as of next August, but opponents are already trying to forestall enforcement by creating gun-free zones. Some Michigan high school students are redefining the term "extracurricular activity." In addition to club meetings, band practices and football games, University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy teens are also signing up to serve as pallbearers for homeless veterans. NASHVILLE -- Police were seeking three suspects early Wednesday after three college students were shot across the street from the Tennessee State University campus.
