Text from Liveleak: This Type 10 Destructive Device manufacturer specializes in 7.62mm Miniguns, flamethrowers and artillery, which means they probably don’t have time to bleed. This tactical backpack takes the good old M134 GAU-2B/A six-barrel rotary buzzsaw and adds a power source and enough 7.62x51mm NATO in a backpack to give you one heck of a (short) blast. • ESPN gets itself sued by not knowing the difference between ‘guerrilla’ and ‘gorilla’

Racism everywhere! You already know that ESPN has fallen very far, from its heyday as the global leader in sports programming to its current pathetic state as a pusher of left-wing social sensibilities that uses sports a foil. ESPN celebrates on-air personalities like Tony Kornheiser, Michael Wilbon and Stephen A. Smith for their courageous liberal pronouncements. (For the record, I love Smith . . . but he is what he is.) ESPN fires conservatives like Curt Schilling who express their opinions, even when they do so off the air and completely apart from their role on ESPN.

Up-to-the-minute coverage! Just to bring you the very latest, it’s now six! I don’t want you to miss any updates. Not that you would, with NBC, the Washington Post, NESN and the New York Times all breathlessly covering this story in the past few days. If you’re a New England Patriot and you don’t want to go to the White House because you hate Trump, you’re very big news. Here’s the report the nation needs to fend off the fall of the republic, courtesy of The Hill:
  • Will Team Trump Beat Bush And Romney Again With Marlins Bid?

    Forbes ^ | February 9, 2017 | Nathan Vardi
Donald Trump has already beaten Bush and Romney in the political arena, but will Trump’s extended family now also beat them both on the baseball diamond? Forbes reported on Thursday that Jeff Loria, the owner of the Miami Marlins, has a handshake deal to sell the baseball team for $1.6 billion to a real estate developer in New York City. Subsequently, reports emerged that the Kushner family, which made its money in real estate, was negotiating to buy the Marlins. Jared Kushner is married to Ivanka Trump and serves as an adviser to President Trump. The Kushner effort is being...
  • Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins is not a fan of Trump's newest executive order

Eagles safety Malcom Jenkins isn’t one to keep his opinions to himself. Jenkins was one of many NFL players who visibly protested during the playing of the national anthem, raising his fist in protest before many Eagles games this season. On Thursday, Jenkins took to Twitter to blast President Trump for signing an executive order that seeks to increase penalties for those who commit violence against state and federal police, but makes no mention of those killed by law enforcement...
  • About that 84 Lumber commercial celebrating illegal aliens . . .

In the finest Orwellian language, they claim people who sneak across the border are on a "migrant journey toward becoming legal American citizens." Why would a lumber company get political in a Super Bowl ad? Furthermore, why would it stake out a position - celebrating illegal immigration - that cheerleads for lawbreaking? Since the ad is obviously a PR move and not designed in any way to sell lumber, it has to have one of two motives behind it: Either the company thinks the public is generally in favor of people sneaking across the border and entering the country illegally,...

  • Patriots complete biggest comeback in Super Bowl history, win fifth title

    CNN ^ | February 5, 2017 | Jill Martin
For the first time, a Super Bowl needed overtime, and for the fifth time, the New England Patriots are Super Bowl champions. This time, it took the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history to do it, defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 at NRG Stadium in Houston in Super Bowl LI. Atlanta had a 28-3 lead midway through the third quarter. But a costly Atlanta fumble by quarterback Matt Ryan with 8:31 left in the fourth quarter helped set up the Patriots to come all the way back. It was the first time the Falcons had turned the ball over in...

Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, watched the Super Bowl at the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida. The gathering was held in a large ball room. Trump and Melania sat at a table that included Chief of Staff Reince Priebus: Donald Trump is well known for his ties to the New England Patriots. He has long-lasting friendships with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick, and star quarterback, Tom Brady. Belichick even wrote a letter to Trump praising him effusively after Trump was elected, Kraft attended the inauguration, and Brady had a “Make America Great Again” hat...

"I swear to Lucifer," Lady Gaga said on the Jimmy Kimmel show. The question that has to be asked here is: Why are Conservatives putting up with Roger Goodell's offensive half time, Super Bowl entertainment when Hollyweird and the music industry got away with attempting to heap shame on President Donald Trump's inauguration? The Super Bowl arguably is the most watched entertainment event in America. But why is the public, year after year subjected to Satanic symbols, dark entertainment themes and offensive displays of female nudity at outrageous ticket prices? In a Spy Kitten video, watched by over 4 million...
  • The Rate of Fatal Firearm Accidents is at an All Time Low in the U.S.

Chart by David Scott.  The rate is number of fatalities per 100,000 population. It is not simple to determine the rate of fatal firearm accidents in the United States over the long term.  In this article three sources were used. Rates and numbers from 1933-1987 are  available from Kleck, Point Blank Page 306 Table 7.1. Numbers of 1981-2000 were found in An Analysis of Firearm-Related Accidents in the United States(pdf). Rates were calculated using Census figures.  From 1999-2015 numbers were available in WISQARS, population for per capital rates was taken from U.S. Census figures. For the overlap cases, the...
  • Ditka: If Player Takes a Knee During Anthem, 'He Doesn't Play For Me Ever Again'

Mike Ditka, the former coach of the Chicago Bears, two-time Super Bowl champion and two-time NFL Coach of the Year, said if one of his players took a knee during the National Anthem, they would never “play for me ever again.” He also said young players, such as San Franciso 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, need to show respect for the game that has given them so much and stop “acting like a bunch of fools out there.” […] “Well, here’s the thing. When we live in a society that pays attention to athletes, say, as greatly as they do to...

Stanley Cup > Super Bowl I’m from Detroit. We’re saddled with the Lions. This means I’ve never faced a scenario where I actually care about the outcome of a Super Bowl. For me, the game is more about having friends over, opening a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle, and stirring up a massive pot of my award-winning* chili. We watch the game, the ads, and the usually-terrible halftime show without any real investment in the winners and losers. It’s an “entertainment thing” more than a “sports thing.”

After a somewhat listless 0-0 draw against Serbia on Sunday, the US men’s national team will look to really shake the rust off on Friday, when they host CONCACAF foe Jamaica in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The friendly will be the final opportunity for US players to impress manager Bruce Arena ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Honduras and at Panama in March. It’ll also be the last shot for Arena, who used a lone-striker formation against Serbia, to settle on tactics ahead of those hugely important Hex matches next month.

Fumble It appears football players are much wiser than journalists. That probably comes as no surprise to most of you. Instead of football players I could have said “prison inmates” or “derelicts” or “mollusks,” and most of you would have considered it obvious that they are wiser than journalists. Maybe not more book-smart, mind you, but it’s one thing to be in possession of a lot of information. It’s another thing to be able to exercise good judgment in what you do with it.
  • Calif. bans state travel to Kansas over LGBT discrimination concerns

California has banned state-funded travel to Kansas after determining that the Sunflower State is one of four in the nation with laws that it views as discriminatory toward gay people. The policy could prevent public universities in California from scheduling sporting events with Kansas teams and raises the question of whether teams will travel to Wichita in 2018, when the city is scheduled to host two rounds of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. “California must take action to avoid supporting or financing discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people,” states the California law, which was passed in September. The...
