Donald Trump has already beaten Bush and Romney in the political arena, but will Trumps extended family now also beat them both on the baseball diamond?
Forbes reported on Thursday that Jeff Loria, the owner of the Miami Marlins, has a handshake deal to sell the baseball team for $1.6 billion to a real estate developer in New York City. Subsequently, reports emerged that the Kushner family, which made its money in real estate, was negotiating to buy the Marlins.
Jared Kushner is married to Ivanka Trump and serves as an adviser to President Trump. The Kushner effort is being led by Joshua Kushner, a New York venture capitalist who is Jareds younger brother, The New York Times reported. Real estate developer Charles Kushner, the father of Josh and Jared, is participating in the bid for the Marlins....

Whomever buys the Marlins I hope they ditch those butt-ugly uniforms. They looked like they were designed by a gay interior designer who recently has his sight restored.

I don’t think so.
Regardless of whether it’s Kushner and family or not, the other owners are not likely to approve this deal because reportedly the bidder doesn’t have the liquidity to cover the price and most of the purchase price would be financed. After the fiasco with the Dodgers they are very leery of deals like that.
