Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, watched the Super Bowl at the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida.
The gathering was held in a large ball room. Trump and Melania sat at a table that included Chief of Staff Reince Priebus:
Donald Trump is well known for his ties to the New England Patriots. He has long-lasting friendships with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick, and star quarterback, Tom Brady. Belichick even wrote a letter to Trump praising him effusively after Trump was elected, Kraft attended the inauguration, and Brady had a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker.
However, the president did not attend the Super Bowl 2017 in Houston, although Vice President Mike Pence did, where astute observers said the camera captured him with James Baker. Trump wore a red tie, the central color of the Atlanta Falcons on the Super Bowl 2017 field, while Melania dressed down in a blue sweater with white pants, part of the color combination of the Patriots. (However, Donald Trump previously predicted a Patriots’ victory.)
The president and First Lady have been in Florida all weekend, at their Mar-a-Lago estate, where, on February 4, they attended an annual Red Cross gala. However, the Super Bowl party they hosted was at the Trump golf course in Palm Beach, not at Mar-a-Lago.
Melania wore a hot pink gown to the gala. The vacation marked the first public appearances of the Trumps together since the day after the inauguration.
Pence, on his way to Super Bowl 51, stopped at “Andrews Air Force Base, where he met two wounded service members and their guests — and invited them to join him at the game,” reported the Independent Journal Review.
The Pences tried to strike it neutral, inviting a service member to attend the game with them who supported the Falcons and one who supported the Patriots.
However, more Twitter conversation focused on Baker being spotted with Pence. Baker was the chief of staff to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. The latter president did the coin toss at Super Bowl 51 with his wife, Barbara.

Almost all well-made contemporary neckties are made from silk. Polyester was somewhat popular from mid-century to the 70’s, but not anymore.
I have saved pictures of them from different sites. She smiles in many of them. She has a beautiful smile. With everything going on, she has a lot on her mind. I may not want to smile all the time either. She is concerned about the death threats against President Trump and the hatred against Barron. Even she is getting some of it. I just hope they have guards who love them and will protect them. Did y’all read the statement by Diamond and Silk about praying for President Trump at 11:21 every day? I read a comment by President Trump about the statement which means the most to him, “I am praying for you.”
You neglect to consider that the media choose the photos for publication, and they have no intention of making the first family appear in their best light. If you had followed the link to the photos of the Red Cross Ball, you would have seen eight lovely photos with Melania smiling.
Silk is, by far, the most common material for a necktie. Nothing fancy about that
