Cincinnati police are investigating the fatal shooting of an apparently unarmed black man by a University of Cincinnati police officer after a confrontation during a traffic stop Sunday. The dead man, who was shot in the head, was Samuel Dubose, a 43-year-old father of 13 children, according to CNN affiliate WKRC-TV. A CNN records search showed that Dubose had more than 60 arrests. Arrested for the murder of the 31-year-old mother, Lindsay Nichols, is Thayon Samson, 30. Nichols was the mother of a 9-year-old boy. Reports say the victim's body was stuffed in the car's trunk. I admit that I am truly baffled and quite irked by the decision of Premiere Radio Networks to hire Senator John McCain's daughter, Meghan McCain, to host the nationally syndicated radio talk show, America Now.
