I have been surfing the web looking at tactical shotguns. I really don't care for the term "tactical", but what I am looking for is certainly not a bird gun. Here are my requirements: 1. The FBI has released their 2007-2011 “Murder Victims by Weapon” report. The results are contradictory to anti-gun industry claims that relaxing the ban on assault weapons will cause more crime. The report indicates you are more likely to be killed by hands or feet than by a rifle or shotgun. A Tacoma homeowner shot a man who had broken into his house in the face on Tuesday, police said. The incident occurred near South 14th Street and Madison Street. The homeowner was on the phone with 911 as the suspect was breaking into the home about 6 p.m. When he entered, the homeowner shot the suspected burglar in the face with a gun loaded with bird shot. The injured man was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma. His injuries are life-threatening.

PHARR - Investigators say a random home burglary today went awry leaving one suspect shot, another in custody and a third one on the lam. Officials said three men broke into a home on the 700 block of West Bronze Avenue just after 11 a.m. The homeowner confronted the intruders and shot one in face with a shotgun. STOCKTON (CBS13) – A 20-year-old Stockton man had to undergo emergency surgery Monday after he accidentally shot himself in the leg. The man was found in the parking lot of a store in the 2400 block of E. Main Street in Stockton with a wound to his upper-thigh. The weapon was a crudely made 12-gauge “zip gun”.
