Getting a reluctant child to give an elderly relative a kiss often requires some gentle persuasion. But parents who force their sons and daughters to give granny a peck on the cheek may be doing them harm, it was claimed yesterday. For instead of helping a child learn about showing affection, it may blur the boundaries of what is acceptable when it comes to physical contact, according to Lucy Emmerson, coordinator of the Sex Education Forum. She even claims that encouraging a youngster to blow a kiss, high-five or wave to a relative instead will help them avoid future sexual...

American Apparel's clothing range and advertising has come under fire before, but for parents of teens, this feels like a step too far. Parental warning: this article contains a graphic image.

The Boy Scouts of America will accept openly gay youths starting on New Year’s Day, a historic change that has prompted the BSA to ponder a host of potential complications—ranging from policies on tentmates and showers to whether Scouts can march in gay pride parades. Yet despite their be-prepared approach, BSA leaders are rooting for the change to be a non-event, comparable to another New Year’s Day in 2000 when widespread fears of digital-clock chaos to start the new millennium proved unfounded. “My hope is there will be the same effect this Jan. 1 as the Y2K scare,” said Brad...

After certain press criticism and a productive online backlash in the blogosphere, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) is performing a gratifying volte-face in its use of the term sexual "orientation" for paedophilia. In its fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), the APA has distinguished between paedophilic disorder and paedophilic orientation. Paedophilia-advocacy groups, like B4U-ACT, a grassroots lobby group, have long seen the declassification of paedophilia to the status of an "orientation" for “minor-attracted persons" (MAPs) to be a necessary means to their ends. The North American Man-Boy Love Association (and numerous international affiliates advocating...

The American Psychiatric Association’s (APA) decision to once again reclassify pedophilia has led to further concerns that the professional organization is attempting to legitimize the disorder, paving the way for its defense and the recommendation of removal of age-of-consent laws.In a press release Friday, Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit organization that promotes the causes of religious liberty, the sanctity of human life, and the family observed that in its newly published Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), APA “changed the classification of pedophilia from a ‘disorder’ to a ‘sexual orientation,’ but, following the public outcry, APA released...

I'm pretty sure I'm bisexual. I say "pretty sure" because I was raised Mormon, a religion that proclaims homosexuality is a terrible sin, so I never really experimented until my twenties. Residual guilt kept me from fully exploring that side of myself that had been so repressed all those years. Mormon hangover, I call it. So I had a few encounters with women in my twenties and then fell in love with and married my husband. So that's that. Except we all know that marriage doesn't stop us from being attracted to other people, it's part of life. I often...

This past week the most prominent teachers' unions made it painfully obvious, they are on the side of the sex offender, rapist, and murderer who has been convicted. They are not now (and pretty much never have been) on the side of your child. They claim to represent the interests of teachers. Yet I am hard pressed to find an average teacher who feels like the unions have done pretty much anything for them. The average teacher just feels the pinch when the union bosses take the dues from their paychecks and threaten any who dare to "get out of...

TORONTO, October 11, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A childhood education conference to take place next weekend at the University of Toronto will feature keynote speaker Dr. James Kincaid, a Professor of English at the University of Southern California who has been criticized as being highly sympathetic to pedophiles. The conference titled "Bodies at Play: Sexuality, Childhood and Classroom Life" is sponsored by the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies under the auspices of the University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). "Kincaid's earlier work in Victorian literature and culture and in literary theory has yielded to...

Tesco Sorry Over 'Gay Best Friend' Doll The retailer's website said the inflatable doll would "tell you if your bum looks big" and was a suitable gift for young children. Tesco has withdrawn an inflatable figure labelled "gay best friend" and apologised for selling it. It comes a day after the retailer was forced to remove a Halloween costume called "Psycho Ward" from its shelves after it sparked widespread criticism. On its website Tesco said "The Inflatable g*y Best Friend" was suitable for children aged three to four and was an "amusing gift". "If SEX in the City and Will...

Most of us can still remember when the idea that homosexuality would one day be considered normal sexual behavior would have been met with disgust and derision. Today we still feel that way about pedophilia. But not for long, for the moonbat masterminds who rule are hard at work reforming our allegedly bigoted taboos. The liberal establishment’s Washington Post provides a massive megaphone for Betsy Karasik to editorialize on the case of former Montana high school teacher Stacey Dean Rambold: "As protesters decry the leniency of Rambold’s sentence — he will spend 30 days in prison after pleading guilty to...

A Palm Beach County family went public yesterday with ugly allegations of sexual abuse at West Palm Hospital. According to a lawsuit recently filed in circuit court, a troubled 9-year-old boy voluntarily submitted to the facility for psychological observation was abused by a hospital staffer known as "Mr. Dan." If that's not bad enough on its own legs, the family's lawyer says the alleged abuser had previously been arrested in 2005 for exposing himself in a Lake Worth park. But the earlier pinch wasn't caught by the hospital's administration. "It just violates the basic safety rules, starting with the fact...

Just when I think I’ve heard it all, I come across something that makes me pause in disgust. This week, I read an article from the Huffington Post titled, “How Do You Feel about Sex and Teenage Sleepovers?” There’s no doubt how I feel, but let’s first take a look at what the author said. In the first paragraph she asks, “Why not teach children how to have sex well, the way you teach them how to do other things?” She elaborates, describing parents inviting the teenager’s partner over, having a nice dinner and then the couple “toddles” off to...

She was in jail on $25,000 bond and was charged with soliciting a child for unlawful sexual conduct using computer services or devices. It wasn't immediately known if she had an attorney.

It's now official policy in Massachusetts: Adults holding traditional values will no longer be allowed to adopt or be foster parents. On May 15, 2013, the Boston Bar Association held a forum with the Mass. Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Mass. Commission on LGBT Youth. The DCF speakers confirmed that they are "weeding out" adoptive and foster parents who are not willing to wholly accept and support LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender) self-identification by a child in their care. Erika Rickard, Vice Chair of the Mass. Commission on LGBT Youth and herself a foster parent, called...

Watch with English captions at http://youtu.be/MeNYwgFzP3M (thank you, Nikita Udovichenko !). Short narrative in English: Age of consent in Russia is currently 16 years old. On video one can see allegedly a 15 year old teen lured by an organized Neo Nazi gang of self-proclaimed "pedophile fighters" who posted a fake personal ad from allegedly an older man (named "Uncle Dima"). This teen was forced to give out his full name, address, school name, parents names and etc. They laughed about his sexual preferences, bullied him, poured urine on him and kicked at the end. We would never know what...

The Texas Senate is going for Round Two in an epic battle to pass legislation that reflects the will of the people. The ban on late-term abortions after 5 months has proven to be overwhelmingly supported by Americans (2 to 1 in latest uber-liberal Huffington Post national poll) and by a clear margin of women (50% to 44% according to the liberal National Journal poll). But hell has broken loose in Texas. Abortion activists have been paid and shuttled in by the pink busloads. Liberal feminists donning lots of orange, who had the chance to exercise their 19th Amendment-assured right...

California Senate Bill 131, which is ostensibly about protecting victims of child sex abuse, forces private schools to defend claims of sexual abuse as far back as 40 years ago, but exempts public schools from such claims. Because of the Democratic super-majorities in both houses of California, there is no way to stop the passage of the bill. As Valerie Schmalz wrote in Catholic San Francisco: The California state Senate narrowly approved a waiver of the statute of limitations for child sex abuse damage lawsuits – a bill that could have a devastating effect on nonprofits including Catholic Charities and...
