How a Bisexual Disney Princess Can Change the Future of LGBT Entertainment

I'm pretty sure I'm bisexual. I say "pretty sure" because I was raised Mormon, a religion that proclaims homosexuality is a terrible sin, so I never really experimented until my twenties. Residual guilt kept me from fully exploring that side of myself that had been so repressed all those years. Mormon hangover, I call it. So I had a few encounters with women in my twenties and then fell in love with and married my husband. So that's that. Except we all know that marriage doesn't stop us from being attracted to other people, it's part of life. I often find myself attracted to other women and not in the "girl crush" way that straight girls describe when they meet a girl they click with or admire. When I occasionally find myself attracted to a girl I experience the same feelings as when I'm attracted to a guy. .

I remember as a kid thinking that ‘bisexual’ meant you had sex twice a day. Didn’t seem such a bad idea to me back then.

Almost all the girls I dated in college were bisexual. When I asked if we could have sex, they all said, “Bye.”

Mormon hangover, I call it.

I call it 'currently drunk on mental illness and self-indulgence.'

Disney will NEVER do such a character. That's because even the Walt Disney Company recognizes such an idea would seriously hurt its image and financial prospects in flyover country.

That’s right, honey. Lean into your mental illness. Embrace it. Let it wash over you and define every aspect of your existence. We care about your sexuality. Really, we do ...

“”The hit Disney-ABC series Once Upon A Time functions under the premise that classic icons from various fairy tales have been transported to a “real world” town and have lost all memories of their former lives due to a powerful curse. On this past Sunday’s episode, Mulan quietly revealed her unrequited love for “Sleeping Beauty” princess Aurora “

F’ing perverts. These are supposed to be characters for KIDS MOVIES! But they just cant help themselves, can they?

Trying to sell this BS to little girls. Disney is just a shell of what it was just 13 years ago.

This person reflects how screwed up many our in their thinking. People are attracted sexually to a very wide spectrum of things. Just because you may find a person of the same sex attractive in a sexual way doesn’t mean that one must ‘explore that part of themselves’ no more than if someone finds themselves attracted to a parent or step parent or under age child and if doesn’t end there. Some people are turned on by pain, by torture, by balloons, by cars, by shoes, by rubber coats, by animals, by space aliens, etc. The idea that one must ‘explore those things’ is ridiculous and the product of an indulgence society that asserts one must not repress themselves when the whole of human society is possible because we do learn to control ourselves. People learn to control their bowels, they learn to control what they eat even if that particular color of paint looks and smells yummy, they learn not to kill or get violent with someone just because they get angry or are upset, they learn to control their response to sex even though they may be driven to copulate with an attractive person who may be unwilling.

The LGBT ideology is an ideology of hedonism. It is an ideology that runs counter to the idea of freewill, it is an assertion that individuals can not be more than their animal instincts and to expect them to be more than those instincts is hurtful. While I don’t hate lgbt people I am totally opposed to their sexual anarchism and the reductio ad bestias of human sexuality which is at the core of their propaganda.

Weird... Ever since I figured out boy and girls were different I’ve been endlessly fascinated by the female form.

Don’t want to be one... I just love women. While I can admire artistry in dance, body building, and sports in my Male species-mates... I can honestly say I’ve never wanted to have sex with one.

Not even in that “Freudian exploration during puberty” thing.

I am a brutally honest heterosexual Male and I can’t imagine me wanting to be anything else.

In today’s twisted society... Why do I feel like the oddball?

These people never understand. It's always pejoratively called “repression” often used synonymously with oppression.

Most every adult human being has sexual urges. It is quite normal to “repress” these urges in a manner that you control the urge rather than the urge controls - and consumes - you. As a married person I retain my urges but repress them out of love and respect for my spouse and my family. Absolutely nothing wrong with this.

This person is married and now wants to act out on her urges and seeks to justify her actions by talking about repression and how she was somehow deprived by her religion. Get over yourself. All you want, as so many do, is to be free to be able to engage in sinful behavior with no sense of guilt. Newsflash: that is not how you or I were created.

Yeah, I figured that this might be what the thread was about. My kids love the show, although its had a few moments that were beyond what I consider acceptable for the 8pm hour.

We watched this particular ep. My teenager is old enough to get it, had the immediate reaction of "I can't believe they're doing that - they're really stupid, people will be angry over this." It went right over the 9 year olds' head, but as of that ep. the show is now very much restricted for him.

I think it was Sam Kinison who once said "What kind of man can look at another man's harry a** and think 'OOOHHHHH Baby. I wanna piece of that!'"

I can’t imagine how women can find men attractive. Every time I go in the gym’s locker room and see naked dudes I usually feel really disgusted.

I don’t know many women who spend time LOOKING at naked dudes....it’s not what attracts (MOST) women to men...(beyond basically healthy and reasonably in shape) IMHO
