Just got a call from RNC Headquarters (202)795-3626.A pleasant sounding woman asked if it was me...I said yes. When she got two words into her routine I interrupted her and said "listen, until the Party stops the foolishness and gets behind the President and his proposals I have nothing for you".At that point she said "yes, and that's why we're kicking off our 2018..." at which point I interrupted again and said "well,I'll just wait to see what happens in '18.I have nothing for you at this time. Please pass that along". She sheepishly thanked me and...call ended.
  • GOP Donors Respond to Obamacare Repeal Failure, Withhold Donations

Republican donors are protesting GOP lawmakers' failure to repeal Obamacare by withholding donations to the National Republican Senatorial Committee. At least $2 million in contributions originally promised to the NRSC have not materialized, CNN reported Tuesday. The failure of Republicans to fulfill a central campaign promise particularly concerns some donors because it could disillusion core voters heading into the 2018 midterms. The uncertainty could put the Republicans' majority—especially in the House of Representatives—at risk.

Kayleigh McEnany, an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump who was previously a CNN contributor, has left the network to join the Republican National Committee, the RNC is announcing on Monday afternoon. The move is yet another sign the GOP has become the party of President Trump, officially. “I am excited to be joining the RNC at such an important and historic time in our country,” said McEnany in a statement the RNC provided to Breitbart News ahead of its public release. “I’m eager to talk about Republican ideas and values and have important discussions about issues affecting Americans across...

Kayleigh McEnany, who recently departed CNN as a contributor, will be the next spokesperson for the Republican National Committee. "I am excited to be joining the RNC at such an important and historic time in our country,” said McEnany, a frequent surrogate for Donald Trump in last year's presidential race. “I’m eager to talk about Republican ideas and values and have important discussions about issues affecting Americans across this country," she said in a statement from the RNC. "Kayleigh will be an integral part of our Party’s ongoing commitment to promoting the Republican message to Americans across the country,” RNC...

President Donald Trump said Wednesday night he has a “good lawsuit” against CNN while speaking at a private RNC fundraiser at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. Trump hinted at suing CNN for its biased stories on the U.S.-Russia narrative, according to new audio released by The Intercept Friday. CNN recently retracted a story from June 22 that claimed Congress is currently investigating Anthony Scaramucci, a member of the transition team’s executive committee, as well as as fundraiser and adviser for the president’s campaign. “It’s a shame what they’ve done to the name CNN, that I can tell you,” Trump...

The president's high-dollar fundraiser Wednesday night at his Washington hotel is expected to bring in nearly $10 million for GOP campaign coffers and his 2020 re-election bid, the Washington Examiner has learned. A RNC spokesman said about 300 people are expected to attend. The president, first lady Melania Trump, RNC Finance Chairman Steve Wynn and RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel will be in attendance at the Trump International Hotel. The fundraiser comes as Trump begins amassing campaign cash for his 2020 re-election bid. "Of course he's running for re-election," White House deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders said during Wednesday's press...

A data analytics contractor employed by the Republican National Committee (RNC) left databases containing information on nearly 200 million potential voters exposed to the internet without security, allowing anyone who knew where to look to download it without a password. "We take full responsibility for this situation," said the contractor, Deep Root Analytics, in a statement. The databases were part of 25 terabytes of files contained in an Amazon cloud account that could be browsed without logging in. The leaky account was discovered by researcher Chris Vickery of the security firm UpGuard. The files have since been secured. Vickery is...
  • Question on donations to President Trump only?

    05/21/2017 1:51:46 PM PDT · by MRadtke · 15 replies
Earlier this afternoon I was called by a republican fundraiser asking for more money. I told him that I have no money to support republicans that are not vocal in their support for our President, or in the case of Senator McCain actively opposing him. It was a polite conversation both ways but I did make my point clear. What I want to know is if there is any way to make a donation to President Trump without the RNC in general using it to help politicians afraid to openly support Donald Trump's agenda? Thanks in advance for any information!

The Republican National Committee, together with President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, raised more than $53 million in the first quarter of 2017, according to party and campaign officials, fueled by the same class of online donors who flocked to Mr. Trump last year. Of that, the RNC raised $41.3 million in the first three months of the year—more than double what its Democratic counterpart raised in the quarter after former President Barack Obama was elected in 2008—while Mr. Trump’s campaign raised $3.3 million and a joint committee between the two raised more than $9 million. Frequent fundraising emails bearing...

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing the Republican plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said he was “afraid if they vote for the bill, they’ll put the House majority at risk next year.” Cotton said, “As it’s written today, this bill cannot pass the Senate. I believe it would have adverse consequences for millions of Americans and wouldn’t deliver on our promises to reduce the cost of health insurance to Americans. I would say to my friends in the house of representatives, with whom I serve, do not walk the plank and vote for a...

I just finished listening to The Rush POD CAST. Rush is correct. Just where is all the Republicans? Trump CANNOT do all the good work alone. He needs help and strong assistance. Where is it? I see that Sessions and McCain are so quick to stab him in the back. I see some bozo (fake) conservatives want to "reach across the isle" and pen "moderate" legislation with the losing progressives. What is all this nonsense???? Trump needs our help. This is not the time to sit on the sidelines and let one man do all the heavy lifting. He needs...

The Republican National Committee is poised to name former rival turned key ally to President Donald Trump as the next finance chair for the party. Billionaire casino mogul Steve Wynn was selected to lead the GOP fundraising operation into the 2018 midterm election at a meeting of RNC officials over the weekend, sources with knowledge of the meeting told LifeZette. Wynn is a loyal Trump partisan and friend, booting designer Tom Ford’s products from his casinos after Ford made disrespectful comments about First Lady Melania Trump. The casino mogul served as finance vice chairman of Trump’s inaugural committee. The committee,...

A Christmas statement released Sunday by the Republican National Committee (RNC) drew outrage among opponents on Twitter who objected to talk of a "new King." ADVERTISEMENT “Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind," RNC chairman Reince Priebus and co-chair Sharon Day said in the statement. "Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King. We hope Americans celebrating Christmas today will enjoy a day of festivities and a...
  • So, the RNC Blocked the Attempted Russian Hack?

RNC officials, concerned they too might have been compromised, called a private computer security firm, which in turn called the FBI and obtained information about what kinds of malicious emails to look for, the person said. Upon inspection, the RNC found that its electronic filters had blocked emails sent to a former employee matching the description they’d been warned about. The apparently successful blocking of a Russian espionage operation offers one possible explanation why the GOP’s main political organization didn’t suffer the same fate as its Democratic counterpart—a deluge of leaked emails revealing private correspondence and internal strategy.

Was Reince Priebus right all along? Leaks from the CIA allege that Russian hackers gained access to computer systems at both the DNC and RNC, but only chose to expose Democratic data in an effort to defeat Hillary Clinton. Outgoing RNC chair and incoming chief of staff Priebus denied that the RNC had been hacked at all, which would put a rather large dent in the story coming from anonymous sources at Langley.According to the Wall Street Journal’s sources, Priebus told the truth: Russian hackers tried to penetrate the computer networks of the Republican National Committee, using the same...

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has named Ronna Romney McDaniel as its next chairwoman. President-elect Donald Trump praised Romney, the chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party, as a "highly effective leader." "I look forward to her serving as the Party’s Chairman in 2017," Trump said in a statement Wednesday. “Ronna has been extremely loyal to our movement and her efforts were critical to our tremendous victory in Michigan, and I know she will bring the same passion to the Republican National Committee.” Romney was the favored choice of current RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, who will leave his post to fill...
