Data on 198M voters exposed by RNC contractor

A data analytics contractor employed by the Republican National Committee (RNC) left databases containing information on nearly 200 million potential voters exposed to the internet without security, allowing anyone who knew where to look to download it without a password.

"We take full responsibility for this situation," said the contractor, Deep Root Analytics, in a statement.

The databases were part of 25 terabytes of files contained in an Amazon cloud account that could be browsed without logging in. The leaky account was discovered by researcher Chris Vickery of the security firm UpGuard. The files have since been secured. Vickery is a prominent researcher in uncovering improperly secured files online. But, he said, this exposure is of a magnitude he has never seen before

"In terms of the disc space used, this is the biggest exposure I've found. In terms of the scope and depth, this is the biggest one I've found," said Vickery.

For example, a 50-gigabyte file of "Post Elect 2016" information, last updated in mid-January, contained modeled data about a voter's likely positions on 46 different issues ranging from "how likely it is the individual voted for Obama in 2012, whether they agree with the Trump foreign policy of 'America First' and how likely they are to be concerned with auto manufacturing as an issue, among others."

Sounds like this applies mainly to people who send in those push-polls from the RNC. Everyone I know who receives these curses or laughs at them (depending on mood) and throws them away.

Files were kept in an Amazon cloud account. How secure is that?

Wait until Amazon sends you an email asking for a rating of the RNC?

“BIG STORY”??? Contractor leaves election data for RNC unsecure. Election is over. Doesn’t matter. No personnal info.
DNC hires Pakistani Family to run all National Security databases and sell it to the highest bidder. DWS makes “arrangements” for the Anwan Bros. to make $Millions of the process and then $Billions off the information. When caught, DWS & Hillary escort the Bros. out of the Country and refuse to let FBI see their computers or files. NO charges. Now three main players have been suicided. See how this works?

Check Deep Root for connections to some big wigs on the RNC.

VERY secure if any effort at all is made to secure it.

Security, being inconvenient, was possibly disabled on this so that someone could quickly and conveniently move this huge wad of data without encryption thereby speeding up the process.

“We take full responsibility for this situation,”

A meaningless statement.

Noting that the Founding States had decided not to give ordinary voters the power to vote for POTUS, please consider the following.

If the anti-constitutional republic Progressive Movement had not successfully spooked the states to unconstitutionally deviate from the 12th Amendment procedure for electing POTUS, then the electoral vote count process would be much less vulnerable to voting fraud and we wouldn’t be having the problems indicated by the referenced article.

Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!

Remember in November ’18 !

Since Trump entered the ’16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the ’18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.

Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist Supreme Court justices off of the bench.

In fact, if Justice Gorsuch turns out to be a liberal Trojan Horse then we will need 67 patriot senators to remove a House-impeached Gorsuch from office.

Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February ‘18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.

While I Googled the primary information above concerning Iowa and New Hampshire, FReeper iowamark brought to my attention that the February primaries for these states apply only to presidential election years. And after doing some more scratching, since primary dates for most states for 2018 elections probably haven’t been uploaded at this time (March 14, 2017), FReepers will need to find out primary dates from sources and / or websites in their own states.

Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitution’s Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal government’s powers.

Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal government’s limited powers listed below.

Functionally, their arrangement equates to giving the information away on purpose in such a manner that who they gave it to is something on they can claim ignorance.
