Prayer request.

My brother in law, Gary has suffered an aortic aneurism, a torn aorta, and two heart attacks. Gary did survive surgery and is in intensive care. The surgeon said that if he survives the next two days his chances of survival improve significantly. Gary is 49, married and has 5 children. Please pray the LORD places His healing hand on him.

I know I'm not real well known on this forum, but somethings are worth getting banned for. My mother is bleeding internally from a gastric bypass surgery. She has had 2 surgeries since, but nothing has been found. My father, who is diabetic, is so worried about her that he is refusing to eat and sleep. His blood sugar is not being regulated properly. Please Pray for my parents.

Please pray for Debbie and Maria. Both of these women have breast cancer. Debbie lives in the UK and is subject to nationalized heath care. david hershkowitz, long time friend of my mother and myself, has cancer that metastasized rapidly in the past few weeks. he is comatose at home with hospice. my mother says he looks relaxed.

This week, we received some terrible news. The six-year old grandson of a dear friend died suddenly. The little one had an underlying health issue, apparently caught a bug, and had to be hospitalized. Many may remember that my son's daughter and only child at that time -- was a victim of Acute Myleogenous Leukemia (adult form), diagnosed when she was nine years old. I have been a strong proponent of bone marrow transplants, because Jennifer is living proof of the success of that procedure. Please pray for my mother. Last night she suffered a heart attack. Thinking it was just heartburn, she was slow to go to the hospital, meaning that the affected region of her heart went hours without oxygen. Worse, she had suffered a heart attack two weeks earlier without knowing it, affecting the same region of the heart. That tissue is mostly destroyed, meaning that chamber of her heart is down to 20% functional. She is in serious, but stable condition.

Please pray for my family. We got very bad news today. We found out today that my 69 year old mother is in very serious condition. She had to have a mastectomy 2 years ago because of breast cancer. Dear FReeper FRiends, My son has recently found that out that he has lymphoma. He underwent surgery today and they completely removed one of his lymph nodes. It will be sent off for more tests to find out exactly what kind of cancer it is and how to treat it. It was first thought he had thyroid cancer, however, that's not being considered anymore. dear freepers, please pray for my mother. she was diagnosed today with a tumor of the pancreas. she still needs tests to determine if it is cancerous, and then there will be decisions about treatment. this tumor is small and does not appear to be invasive, but it is wrapped around the bile duct and she has jaundice. luckily the jaundice probably caused a quick diagnosis. i joked with her that it is a good thing yellow is her favorite color to which she smartly responded that being the color of a corn chip was not her ideal situation. pray...

I ask everyone's prayers for my dear husband, Rick. He found a lump in his neck while shaving, the doctor ordered a CT scan and says it's most likely lymphoma. He had a surgical biopsy on Thursday, we are waiting for the results now. Please pray that the biopsy results are favorable -- either some non-malignant disease process, or Hodgkins or some other easily treatable form of lymphoma. We hardly dare to pray that the preliminary diagnosis will be wrong, but we will.

I wish to say thank you to Jim Robinson for starting Free Republic because it has kept me informed more than any other blog on the net. The driver of this car pictured in the link is a friend of the family. She's in a coma in the hospital. I don't know what her prognosis is but please pray for complete healing and that her life would be spared. She and her family are Christians.

I arrived home today after work to find my wife had died. She suffered an apparent heart attack and passed very peacefully while taking her afternoon nap. Cynthia Marie was 52 and we have been together since the 4th grade. Our daughter is 21 and will be home in the morning. Her neurosurgeon will be repairing a complicated spine problem that has caused nutmeg significant discomfort for a lengthy time. Nutmeg is a dedicated conservative, attending countless FReeps and other conservative gatherings from New England to Washington D.C. for many years. Mrs Don-o wrecked on her bike this morning and has broken bones in both her arms plus a broken left elbow. She will have surgery tomorrow for the elbow. I left her in good spirits, after she was given some pain medication. I just got home from my friend's house. His girlfriend of 25 years has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. He is a vietnam war vet/disabled and she works in the rape crisis unit at the hospital. I just got word that fellow FReeper and co-worker CougarGA7 had a heart attack over the weekend. I've spoken to his wife and he is in the hospital and has had a stent installed, and the prognosis looks good for recovery. Keeping him in your thoughts is appreciated. As many of you know my mother passed away last December. I just got off the phone with my sister. My father passed away during the night in his home. It seems he just could not wait to be with his wife in our Lord's Love. He had a procedure earlier this week and was discharged yesterday with a clean bill of health for someone 74 years old.
