May 12, 2016 Thursday of the Seventh Week of Easter Reading 1 Acts 22:30; 23:6-11 Wishing to determine the truthabout why Paul was being accused by the Jews, the commander freed himand ordered the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin to convene. Then he brought Paul down and made him stand before them. Paul was aware that some were Sadducees and some Pharisees,so he called out before the Sanhedrin,“My brothers, I am a Pharisee, the son of Pharisees;I am on trial for hope in the resurrection of the dead.”When he said this,a dispute broke out between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the...

I'm asking for prayer in behalf of my Uncle in Tennessee, he's 74 and has generally enjoyed great health, however a recent biopsy of a suspicious skin area near the right temple revealed an active melanoma, doctors have cut that away and awaiting pathology reports, they will also be examining the lymph nodes for any possible spread of the cancer as yet undetected.

Pray For Our American Heroes and Our Nation Stand Firm …11All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. 12Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, 13and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.
