Hey, guys! I've encountered problem with my new laptop (courtesy of the wife!) that I've not encountered before. It's got me stumped, and I can't save any files because of it. When clicking on Save or Save As, I get an immediate pop-up, "adownloader", which unapologetically says, "Cannot create file"C:\Users\Dolt\Downloads\Data\FRED\Population data\LFWA64TTUM647N:\1453506086945.DownloadFile". The filename, directory name,or volume label syntax is incorrect." Note that "Dolt" has been substituted for my user name! I cannot move past this. I've Googled it, to no avail. I'm loathe to use registry cleaners, as they often cause more problems than they solve. Can anyone out there...

The US Navy is planning to make job titles gender-neutral - putting the future of long-established names like 'midshipman' in doubt. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus ordered a review of all job titles to determine whether references to 'man' can be removed from positions such as seaman and yeoman. The review was set up 'to ensure (titles) were representative of all sailors and did not discriminate based on gender', the Navy announced.

A female firefighter who has repeatedly failed the fitness test is being given an unprecedented seventh try. Wendy Tapia, 34, was allowed to conditionally graduate from the FDNY's Randall's Island training academy in May 2013 - despite failing the required running test, New York Post reports. The professor, Terri Susan Fine, argued in an editorial published in UCF Today that "we show cultural insensitivity both by equating one major holiday with a minor holiday and failing to recognize that diversity includes those who celebrate neither holiday."
