âThe truth is like a lion; you donât have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself.â â St. Augustine
Moral clarity is the ability to see things as they really are. This type of clarity is only possible when one believes what is true.
America lost her way when she chose the lies of moral relativism over the moral clarity of truth. For to dispose of truth in favor of moral relativism creates moving targets of the standards by which society must agree to live. If we cannot call something âevil,â how can we refer to anything as âgoodâ? We canât have it both ways.
Isnât it evil to become so lazy that we neglect searching for the truth? Isnât it evil to tolerate a lie and immoral to allow others to think for us? Do we reject truth when it makes us feel âuncomfortableâ?
How does one know the truth and where does it come from? Certainly not from the news or social media, from public schools or universities, or from our government.
A Williams College student group hosts a lecture series called âUncomfortable Learning.â For one of the talks, the group invited an accomplished, qualified and well-known guest speaker. The event was cancelled just days before because the group learned the expertâs viewpoint might make students feel âuncomfortableâ.
Wasnât that the point of the lecture series in the first place? Are we teaching students to operate solely on feeling and not fact?
At Washington State University, a professor told her students in the âWomen and Popular Cultureâ class they would ârisk failure for the semesterâ if they used the terms âmaleâ or âfemaleâ because she considered them gross generalizations, derogatory and oppressive language.

I agree with the author.
Moral Relativism (and all other relativisms) are an evil, corrosive cancer.
And this business about “microagression” and “safe spaces” and all that baloney...
We are creating a nation that will crumble at the slightest touch of adversity.
Half the people are of below average intelligence. 47% are democRats. 57% believe in Global Warming. 55% believe killing a human baby is not wrong. There is a lot of overlap, but I would guess 75% of the population do not know the Truth.
I think most people know — deep down — what the “truth” is; but then they mold it, rationalize it and contort it to what they wish it could be. However, although it made take a while, reality (i.e., the “truth”) always prevails.
ReaL Americans OR...AINOs?

Half do, half don’t. The half that don’t vote democrat.
Most people know deep down what the truth is. The problem becomes when you give voice to that you are beaten down with xenophobe, homophobe, racist, sexist, islamophobe, etc.
You run the risk of having your life ruined, becoming a pariah in your community, losing your job and being unable to secure any other work no matter how demeaning.
It is perilous for anyone to speak the truth without serious repercussions for them.
Until that paradigm changes...
Post Modernism is all the rage in academia. Critical Theory, Deconstruction it’s about destroying all order, all belief systems. Truth no longer exists, even logic itself is found to be illogical.
It’s creating an insane, chaotic world whose results are plain to see.
This paradigm is not new ... the Founders certainly were subjected to it and were brave people throughout recorded history.
That is, there have been and will always be bullies.
