    Fox News ^ | November 29, 2016
The man who plowed a car into a crowd at Ohio State University before stabbing several pedestrians with a butcher knife on Monday is said to have referred to American-born Al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki as a “hero” on his social media accounts. Law enforcement sources told Fox News on Tuesday that the reference of al-Awlaki on Abdul Razak Ali Artan’s social media accounts is “deeply concerning” because it could suggest he was self-radicalized before launching the attack. While a motive has not been confirmed, authorities are looking into whether the car-and-knife attack by the Somali-born student was an anti-U.S. terrorist attack.

After the attack on the campus of Ohio State University, where an Islamic refugee attacked people with a knife and then with a truck, a new push has emerged for a bill that would allow concealed-carry permit holders to carry a gun on college campuses in the state of Ohio. “The idea of a lot of people walking around campus with firearms is just terrifying to me,” said Angelina Vega. Vega is a third-year law student at Ohio State and gave her opinion on what she calls “controversial” legislation during Wednesday’s Senate hearing. Vega was a former police officer at...

Full title: Uh, What: Liberal Says Ohio State University Cop Rushed To Judgment When He Killed Suspected Terrorist On November 28, 18-year-old Ohio State University student Abdul Razak Ali Artan, a Somali refugee, used his car and a butcher’s knife to injure eight people. The terrorist group ISIS took responsibility for the attack. Artan’s brief reign of terror ended when OSU Officer Alan Horujko shot and killed him. Officer Horujko saved lives that day. A Somali-born student who carried out a car-and-knife attack at Ohio State University might have been inspired by the Islamic State group and a former al-Qaida leader, investigators said Wednesday. Law enforcement officials said that it’s too soon to say the rampage that hurt 11 people on Monday was terrorism. They said they aren’t aware of any direct contact between the Islamic State group and the attacker, Ohio State student Abdul Razak Ali Artan. “We only believe he may have been inspired” by the group, said Angela Byers, the top FBI agent overseeing federal investigations in the southern half of...

The Somali-born student who carried out a car-and-knife attack at Ohio State University complained on his Facebook account about U.S. interference in countries with Muslim communities, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press. Abdul Razak Ali Artan warned about Muslims he described as belonging to “a sleeper cell, waiting for a signal.” He said that if the U.S. wanted “Muslims to stop carrying lone wolf attacks, then make peace with ‘dawla in al sham,’” a term for the Islamic State group, according to the law enforcement official, who was briefed on the investigation but wasn't authorized to discuss it...

Progressives used a brutal knife attack at Ohio State University (OSU) on Monday as an excuse to demand more gun control, even after authorities declared that they had no evidence the attacker even used a gun during his rampage. The attacker reportedly struck pedestrians with his vehicle and proceeded to stab several others, harming at least nine individuals, one of whom is in critical condition. Despite OSU’s initial tweets stating there was an active shooter on campus, authorities later said there was no evidence that the attacker used a gun during his attack. The victims are being treated for stab...

The Associated Press, which operates the longest-running college football poll, published a top 25 Tuesday that ranks the nation’s best programs over the poll’s 80-year existence (1936). The No. 1 team? It’s Ohio State, the program that has been ranked in the poll for more weeks than any other team (852), including the most at No. 1 (105). Michigan (No. 7), Michigan State (No. 19), Wisconsin (No. 24) and Iowa (No. 25) also land on the list, as do current Big Ten members Nebraska (No. 6) and Penn State (No. 12), both of which experienced their best years pre-Big Ten....

Retired Army Col. Peter Mansoor plans to vote for Hillary Clinton for president this year, but not because the longtime Republican and former top aide to then-Gen. David Petraeus has had a political conversion. He just thinks Republican Donald Trump is too dangerous to be president. “It will be the first Democratic presidential candidate I’ve voted for in my adult life,” said Mansoor, a professor of military history at Ohio State University. Clinton’s campaign hopes that there are many more national-security-minded Republicans and independents who would vote for her, even grudgingly, rather than see Trump win the White House.

All Madison Gesiotto wanted to do when she met with the dean of her law school was report a threat prompted by a newspaper column she wrote pointing out the high abortion rate in the black community. She assumed the meeting would last 10 minutes. Instead, she said, she was there for about an hour as three deans at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law critiqued her on what they saw as problems with her Oct. 23 column in The Washington Times, “The number one killer of black Americans.”
