More than two-thirds of American voters say Hillary Clinton’s controversial email practices as secretary of state were either illegal or unethical, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll. A total of 28 percent said Hillary’s exclusive use of a secret private server to conduct government business was illegal, while 40 percent said the arrangement was unethical, a position shared by 40 percent of Democratic voters. State Department BlackBerry devices issued to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's aides Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin have likely been destroyed or sold off, the department said in a court filing on Wednesday. Mills and Abedin “were each issued BlackBerry devices,” department Executive Secretary Joseph Macmanus wrote in the filing. The department, however, “has not located any such device,” and believes that they would have been destroyed or removed from the department's control.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- Sources tell Action News that Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will be charged Thursday after an ongoing investigation into a grand jury leak. The exact charges are not yet known. The investigation centered on whether Kane had a role in disclosing information about a 2009 grand jury investigation to the Philadelphia Daily News last year. A grand jury recommended in December that Kane be charged for engaging in a cover-up and lying about her role in the leak. The grand jury's allegations were referred to Montomgery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.

Backup tapes containing as many as 24,000 Lois Lerner emails were destroyed by an IRS entity officially known as the “Media Management Midnight Unit” located in Martinsburg, West Virginia, according to documentation released this week by the House Oversight Committee. In all, 422 backup tapes holding the emails were magnetically “degaussed” despite an agency-wide preservation order and congressional subpoena. Degaussing is a process whereby powerful magnets are used to erase data on a storage tape. WASHINGTON (AP) — IRS employees erased computer backup tapes a month after officials discovered that thousands of emails related to the tax agency's tea party scandal had been lost, according to government investigators. The investigators, however, concluded that employees erased the tapes by mistake, not as part of an attempt to destroy evidence.
