Steve Wells has conceded the 22nd Congressional District’s Republican Primary to Brandon Williams, who’s declared victory. Williams’ win is considered an upset because Wells was backed by the GOP committees in the counties of NY-22, had name recognition and more money. Williams also has the Conservative Party endorsement.

A New York state trial court judge has ruled that Republican Claudia Tenney has won New York’s 22nd Congressional District election, an outcome that has been tied up in court since November. New York Judge Scott J. DelConte issued a final order finding that Tenney gained votes after her narrow November win, thus increasing her lead to 123 votes over Anthony Brindisi and thus is the winner of the November election. Despite Tenney’s victory, Democrat campaign lawyer Marc Elias has become the new Lin Wood – tying up the victory in courts and denying the obvious win for Tenney. After...

Republican Claudia Tenney increased her lead over Democrat Anthony Brindisi in New York’s 22nd Congressional District race when more than 300 votes were salvaged after a mistake by Oneida County elections staff. Tenney is now ahead by 122 votes, up from 29 votes, in the race over Brindisi of 312,066 cast for the two candidates in the race. The 22nd Congressional race is the only undecided House race in the country, nearly three months after Election Day. It’s been beleaguered by errors that have caused delays and is an exceptionally close race, so both candidates are fighting for every ballot...

The last U.S. House race in the nation to be called will come a step closer to resolution Wednesday. Since Nov. 3, ex-Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., has held the lead in New York’s 22nd District (upstate) over Rep. Anthony Brindisi, D-N.Y. As of Friday, with all votes in the eight-county district tallied up, Tenney’s lead was 29 votes out of more than 325,000 cast. But State Supreme Court Judge Scott DelConte has so far refused to permit the certification Tenney needs in order to be sworn into the 116th Congress. DelConte last week cited the revelation the Oneida County Board...

Michael Berry In NY-22 GOP Challenger Leads By 12 Votes Then 55 Ballots Were "Discovered" Dec 2, 2020 Republican Claudia Tenney is currently leading incumbent Rep. Anthony Brindisi by a dozen votes. Then suddenly & miraculously Chenago County “discovered” 55 uncounted ballots nearly FOUR WEEKS AFTER THE ELECTION. ... The Republican Tenny had led the Democrat incumbent by more than 28,000 votes after early and in-person voting and that lead has gone down to just 12 votes.

How do you spell "sidesplitting chutzpah"? In New York's 22nd congressional district, it's spelled: R-I-C-H-A-R-D H-A-N-N-A. He's the liberal GOP incumbent trying to cling to public office by smearing the Marine mom, small-business owner, lawyer and conservative state assemblywoman poised to take his seat next week. Claudia Tenney is as rock-solid of a Republican as they come: pro-life, pro-limited government, pro-Second Amendment, pro-entrepreneur, pro-American worker. As one of New York's top conservative legislators, Tenney has been unafraid to challenge the powers that be in both political parties. As an attorney, she has fought valiantly against cronyism and corruption. She has...

Yesterday, YNN reported that Democratic incumbent Rep. Maurice Hinchey had assaulted a newspaper reporter after a debate with George Phillips in the NY-22 race. YNN’s videographer reported that Hinchey had “made a beeline” for Kingston Daily Freeman reporter Bill Kemble after he had asked Hinchey about a potential conflict of interest in the Partition Street Project, a project for which Hinchey had earmarked federal funds and in which the Freeman had reported Hinchey and his business partners to have financial interests, directly and indirectly. Hinchey’s campaign released a statement late yesterday that Kemble “took an aggressive step” towards the Congressman,...

Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) ripped into a reporter outside a debate late Thursday, telling the scribe to "shut up!" as cameras rolled in the second taped confrontation between a New York candidate and a journalist in three weeks. According to the reporter, Kingston Daily Freeman's Bill Kemble, the long-serving congressman came at him after the cameras were off, resuming the argument, poking his finger in his chest and putting his hands near his throat before backing off. The scrap added a bipartisan flavor to the fighting that's gone on in races of late, with New York Republican gubernatorial hopeful Carl...
  • Ed Koch endorsing George Phillips in NY-22 race

Yesterday, Maurice Hinchey had to get Bill Clinton out to Binghamton to try to rescue his re-election bid and save his House seat. Today, Republican challenger George Phillips trumps Hinchey with a surprise endorsement from former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, a Democrat who has a track record of backing common-sense Republicans. Hot Air reports exclusively this morning that Koch will deliver a speech tomorrow afternoon in Kingston announcing his endorsement of Phillips. Why is Koch opposing the Democratic incumbent? Koch is apparently unhappy with Hinchey over the nine-term Congressman’s hostility towards Israel. In his speech, Koch will hit...
