Fraud: While the global warming alarmists have done a good job of spreading fright, they haven’t been so good at hiding their real motivation. Yet another one has slipped up and revealed the catalyst driving the climate scare. We have been told now for almost three decades that man has to change his ways or his fossil-fuel emissions will scorch Earth with catastrophic warming. Scientists, politicians and activists have maintained the narrative that their concern is only about caring for our planet and its inhabitants. But this is simply not true. The narrative is a ruse. They are after something...

And Trump's surely helping the cause, with unhinged cheap-shot attacks on Heidi Cruz- when this woman is 10,000x times more impressive than unintelligible prop Melania Trump will ever be... Alas, the pattern is well-established: Trump comes up with some dubious excuse to orchestrate a character assassination (that's already been elaborately planned), goes into a two day twitter frenzy disingenuously playing the victim in a crudely staged scene that's a mirror-image of the one the master projectionist is actually about to spring upon his latest mark. Then when Trump shifts into attack-mode, Drudge, Breitbart, paid bloggers and twitter trolls spread the false narrative/finish...

Overflow crowds in Peoria greeted 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on his third of five Monday rallies in Illinois the day before Tuesday's pivotal primary elections. Cruz commented that republican frontrunner Donald Trump "may be the one person on the face of the planet Hillary Clinton can beat in a general election" according to political reporter Rosie Gray. Cruz mentioned Cook County politics, garnering boos from the crowd in reference to Chicago, Illinois. He slammed Trump over donations to politicians such as the disgraced and imprisoned Rod Blagojevich, the Cook County Democratic Party, and Rahm Emmanuel....

“His wife, Heidi, will be the very first pro-life first lady,” Dobson says in the TV ad, in which he also endorses Ted Cruz for president. The Federalist writer Gary Bauer said that his sources tell him that Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi, also is strongly pro-life.

Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) on Tuesday slammed the administration’s handover of $500 million to the U.N. Green Climate Fund, asking a State Department official how the “handout to foreign bureaucrats” could be justified at a time when there were “real problems” that need to be addressed at home. Barrasso told Deputy Secretary for Management and Resources Heather Higginbottom he viewed the payment to the “new international climate change slush fund” — the first installment of a $3 billion pledge — as both a misuse of taxpayer dollars and a violation of legislation that prohibits federal agencies from spending federal funds...

During the debate last night Senator Ted Cruz was asked a direct question by Megyn Kelly about why didn’t Senator Jeff Sessions endorse him. Cruz artfully avoided answering and instead deflecting his response to falsely accuse Donald Trump of sending Hillary Clinton four campaign contributions in 2008. Senator Cruz never answered the question. So why doesn’t Senator Jeff Sessions support Ted Cruz? The answer is within this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Kstyj5BTcM

Madame Therese Defarge (A Tale of Two Cities) knits her vengeance into her knitting; and for good measure, she knits the names of the victims of the guillotine right into her knitting as well. This all happens while she watches the beheadings of the French Revolution. Link goes to a Denver Library article on the original subject.

I've come to this site every day since Ted Cruz became a national political figure. Perhaps I'm just getting old with a failing memory but I can't recall any derogatory posts about Cruz until Donald Trump began his ad hominem attacks on him. I don't remember Freepers attacking him as he built a record in the senate. Can someone direct me to the threads and posts by the Freepers who now hate Cruz that were made prior to September of last year?

".....Cruz opened by stating that he tried to think about what Levin would tell him:"Ted, keep it short:defend the Constitution, repeal Obamacare, and kill the terrorists. And I've gotta say, that pretty much sums it up."...."Justice Scalia was an American hero..a lion of the law,he loved the Constitution,he loved freedom. I had the blessing of knowing Justice Scalia for 20 years...Justice Scalia, in three decades on the court, changed the arc of American legal history, singlehandedly shifted the Constitution and the interpretation of it back to the original understand, back to the text and words adopted by the framers. As Ronald Reagan was to...

Donald Trump is running riot in the GOP china shop and gleefully tearing the place up. Consider the strength of Trump’s position: If he wins South Carolina by a big margin, he goes into Nevada with momentum, and the latest poll there has him leading by 26 points and pushing 50 percent. If he enters Super Tuesday a week later having won three out of the past three states — and with Cruz diminished by a South Carolina loss and Rubio having won nowhere — he could easily win, say, 10 contests that day. It might still be possible to...

During Wednesday night's CNN Republican Town Hall, Cruz was asked about his relationship with his colleagues. "From time to time, we see articles written in the paper or on television that you don't get along with some of the Republican senators--your colleagues in Washington. If you are going to have a problem with them, what are you going to say to them as president to get them on board so that we can get legislation passed?" In his answer, Cruz explained, "it's not that I speak with a lack of civility or respect, I mean you have seen in the...

South Carolinians ought to see through Donald Trump’s pose as a winner to recognize him as a repeated failure, and should ignore his pretense as a populist to see his long record of leaving ordinary Americans in the lurch. Trump won’t fight for American voters; he fights only for himself, and he loses more than he wins. Trump, who inherited hundreds of millions of dollars from his father, failed with Trump Steaks, failed with Trump Vodka, failed with the United States Football League, failed with Trump Air, failed with Trump Mortgage company, failed with his major companies’ four infamous bankruptcies,...

Unbelievable how lame some of this stuff is... seems infatuated people will believe anything. And the instant mob lynching of whomever Trump tells them to is a bit scary, even Orwellian: Nice Photoshop uglifying... and psychopath now too? Goebbels -surely an inspiration- would have loved this one- just add greedy Jew nose Funny because Trump has such great hair, never any infantile tantrums More at Reaganite Republican

Donald Trump was so unhappy about the Cruz Campaign's "Supreme Trust" ad that he sent a "cease and desist" letter demanding that the Cruz campaign immediately stop running the ad featuring Trump currently running in South Carolina. During an epic press conference Sen. Ted Cruz rejected Trump's frivolous demands. In its response the Cruz campaign said the ad is not an attempt to mislead the public: The objective of the ad is precisely the opposite - to provide the voters of South Carolina with important and accurate information so that they can make an informed decision when they go to...

As a military pilot and veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, I am proud that this week Ted Cruz showed us again why he is the candidate best qualified to be commander-in-chief. Yesterday he laid out a serious, detailed plan for a Reagan-style rebuild of our military that will enable us to utterly defeat the radical Islamic terrorists who have vowed to destroy us. Senator Cruz understands that the essence of "peace through strength" is having the strength to maintain peace, and he's ready to do this hard work. I am proud to have endorsed him and will be...

The other question raised by a Trump victory in South Carolina, though, is why that dynamic would change. In CNN's poll, Trump beats Ted Cruz by a wider margin among evangelical voters than he does among voters overall -- a voting bloc that is supposed to be in Cruz's corner. (In Iowa, where the majority of Republican voters identified as evangelical, Cruz won evangelicals by 12 points. In South Carolina, Trump leads with them by 20.) Trump also leads with conservative voters in South Carolina, although by a smaller margin than he leads overall. If that holds, it's not clear...

It has become increasingly clear that the "self-funded" candidate in the Republican presidential primary, Donald J. Trump, will destroy the GOP's chances to win in November if he is not the nominee. Leftist groups are ecstatic over Trump’s "Bush lied, people died," mantra over the Iraq war. Internet trolls for Vladimir Putin are firmly behind Trump, saying he has the right recipe for accommodating Russia. ... How did this happen? Conservatives who should know better went beyond praising his attacks on political correctness to welcoming him as a legitimate conservative candidate for president. Last year, Matt Schlapp, the chairman of...
