Donald Trump is running riot in the GOP china shop and gleefully tearing the place up.
Consider the strength of Trumpâs position: If he wins South Carolina by a big margin, he goes into Nevada with momentum, and the latest poll there has him leading by 26 points and pushing 50 percent. If he enters Super Tuesday a week later having won three out of the past three states â and with Cruz diminished by a South Carolina loss and Rubio having won nowhere â he could easily win, say, 10 contests that day.
It might still be possible to beat Trump at that point if the field is narrowed (states donât become winner-take-all until March 15), but doing so would involve wrestling to the ground a candidate who will have cut a formidable swath through the first month of the nomination battle.
Even now, it's hard to imagine a happy outcome for the party from the three likeliest scenarios:

Let his accomplishments in life speak for itself and the same for you. :-)
This guy has made more private sector jobs in America than probably all the prior Presidents combined. That is not the sign and resume of an incompetent not flake.
Unlike politicians he has accomplished things in life.
Do you think Washington is both worried and jealous? I think they are.
Trump supporters are cracked.
If you want to take the country back from the left, you should be worried. If you want the next Supreme Court to have conservative nominees, you should be worried. If you believe with Trump that everything is just rainbows and unicorns because Trump says it is, then all is fine.
Many of them freely admit they want to tear down first and foremost. In the ruins, they believe a new conservative man will rise up. It’s not reality. They’re creating a void that the Democrats will fill and push Obama’s agenda full speed.
I was replying to post #1.
The Germans will wish they had someone like Trump within 10-15 years.
The author can’t imagine a happy outcome for the party? What about this? Voters finally select a nominee who is popular with the base, aka a populist, instead of dragging another McCain or Romney across the finish line who despises said base and wouldn’t change Washington DC even if they won.
You have never had so many Muslim refugees coming into Germany like you do now. Families will be less safe and the culture will be diminished over time.
In just the past few days I have been referred to as Hitler, demanded that I stay in Germany and told I am hiding in Berlin from being raped by refugees.
Funny, the only foreigners I saw yesterday were three Russians at the train platform, each with a beer in his hand. Foreigners other than me that is.
OH, but Rich you were telling us months ago Trump had no chance, then Rich you said he had peaked. These guys have not only been disgusting in their hatred and unwillingness to understand Trump but they have been wrong everywhere.
It is all well and good to stick up for the person you think will be best for America, but it gets tiresome to keep reading the anti-Trump rants where he is painted as the worse candidate in the world and all his supporters are ignorant fools.
I can not speak for others but for me I do not care if Trump is a conservative. As for me, I am escaping the “conservative plantation”, the one that politicians take for granted as if I had no where else to go.
I have seen the Republican party put up weak candidates that as weak as they were, should have won but for one reason, they were unwilling to fight the opposition, on anything.
I don’t care how “conservative” Cruz is, where has he been the past few years? Why hasn’t he been vocal about all the changes the Democrats have made in our country? I do not know his reasons for not being out front and vocal on these issues, but could he be afraid of standing up to the left?
Don’t tell me he said this, or he did that, because if he had, he would be the one being demonized by the left instead of Trump.
I am supporting Trump for one basic reason, he is not afraid to take on the left (and I guess the right).
I believe Trump is to the right of Sanders and Clinton (or any other Democrat that may end up running). I have supported non conservative Republicans in the past so see no real problem supporting Trump now.
So once and for all not all Trump supporters are ignorant of Trumps short coming, it is just that they do not matter.
if the shoe fits....
Mark levine last night said the rat GOP ans karl rove are planning a brokered convention to nullify cruz and trump and put thier loser in. Looks like we might have to go independent
Not even close.
Reagan lowering taxes and reducing the burden of government created millions of jobs.
Obama doing the opposite has destroyed millions of jobs.
Trump is and has been a politician for most his life. He wines, plays, pays, wheels and deals with the political class continually to get what he wants. He, Bill and Hill were good buds only a few years ago.
A “businessman” with no constitutional moorings will not fix the country. He’ll just create another flavor of big government doing what big government does. That isn’t the road to greatness.
It’s like dealing with zombies. They don’t care.
Trump is the SUPERHERO of the private sector! Hes a card carrying NRA member. Embraces pursuit of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness through hard work and discipline. Wants to restore America back to National Sovereignty. Whats the problem?
