OK, finally I will give an update on my breast cancer. Any advice/guidance appreciated regarding my specific history! Anyone who matches me would love to hear from. I'm 47 now, BTW. *I have a history of a pulm. embolism a month after major surgery on the gut the other year, while still on birth control (they yanked me off after that).
  • Homosexuality Is a Danger to Human Health

Although there are many reasons to oppose the normalization of homosexuality, this reason alone would be enough: it represents an enormous risk to human health. According to a recent and extensive survey, homosexuals have "excess health problems" compared to sexually normal people. They suffer disproportionately from "impaired physical and mental health, heavy alcohol consumption, and heavy cigarette use." The National Health Interview Survey, which has been conducted since 1957, included a question about sexual preference for the first time in 2013 and 2014. The results are astounding and alarming for anyone who cares about people who are trapped in a...

We spend an inordinate amount of time talking about the various scandals engulfing the VA in general and the abysmal healthcare received by our veterans in particular, but solutions thus far have been hard to come by. Tinkering with the existing system and replacing bad actors seems to be simply nibbling around the edges of the problem. There have been improvements in some areas, but wait times for veterans remain unacceptably long and the quality of care available in some regions is still far below where we need to be. Is it time to scrap the entire system and start...

  • Major breakthrough as doctors REVERSE symptoms of a stroke <tr>

Doctors have reversed the symptoms of stroke in a major medical breakthrough. Patients regained the ability to walk, speak and have a normal family life, thanks to a procedure requiring only local anaesthetic and a single night in hospital. Remarkably, the stem cell treatment was shown to work even three years after someone had suffered a stroke - meaning that millions of people could potentially benefit from the treatment. Eighteen patients underwent the procedure in an initial trial - with stunning results. Despite the long gap between stroke and treatment, all 18 patients in the pilot showed increasing improvement for...

A standard brain scanning technique is showing promise for helping doctors distinguish between patients in a vegetative state and those with hidden signs of consciousness. A study released Thursday is the latest to investigate using technology to help meet the challenge of making that distinction, which now is generally based on a doctor's bedside exam. Patients in a vegetative state have open eyes and show periods of sleep and wakefulness, but they are unaware of themselves or others and unable to think, respond or do anything on purpose. Patients in a minimally conscious state show only intermittent and minimal signs...

Sunday marks a bright day in the struggle to provide health insurance for every child in California. It's the day all children, regardless of immigration status, will have access to checkups and other basic preventive care as part of the state's Medi-Cal expansion signed into law last year by Gov. Jerry Brown.

A Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hiring manager said in a sworn deposition “thank God” they don’t give veterans hiring preference for well-paying jobs. The statement came when a VA dentistry chief was asked if being a veteran helps someone get a dentist job in the agency. His response was “not really. And thank God,” The Daily Caller News Foundation recently discovered in a court filing. Being a scout master in the Boy Scouts would do more to help someone get a top job at the VA than serving in the armed forced, Dr. Gonzalo Solis Sanchez of the VA...

Houston,TX- Surrounded by a phalanx of attorneys and a crush of news reporters and cameramen, David Daleiden turned himself in to the Houston courts on Thursday in response to the indictments handed down last week by a Harris County grand jury. Those indictments, one felony and one misdemeanor, were related to his undercover journalism work that exposed Planned Parenthood's illegal profit -taking from sale of aborted baby organs. Operation Rescue's Cheryl Sullenger and the Christian's Defense Coalition's Rev. Patrick Mahoney were in court in support of Daleiden, head of the Center for Medical Progress, as he reported to two different...

EL PASO, Texas-- KFOX14 Investigates uncovers new documents alleging the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is buying aborted fetal tissue for research, fetal tissue that may be linked to Planned Parenthood abortions. A Houston-based attorney, Briscoe Cain, said he obtained the information from a Freedom of Information request. He said he found evidence of four Texas medical schools purchasing fetal tissue from a California bioscience company. TTUHSC El Paso is among those listed as purchasing fetal tissue from Advanced Bioscience Resource Center. Cain claims the tissue could be coming from abortions at Planned Parenthood because Planned Parenthood...

For over a century, progressive social engineers dreamed of ridding society of those deemed useless or inferior. The eugenics movement, whose most effective proponent was Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, wanted to prevent births of undesirables, by which Sanger (and others, like Woodrow Wilson) meant blacks, among others.

I regularly open carry around town in Yuma, Arizona.   A couple of months ago, my Doctor recommended that I undergo a series of tests, mostly as a precaution.  My Doctor and I get along quite well.  She has never offered any complaint about my open carry in her office, and it has become something of a joke with the receptionist that I have to remove a considerable amount  of gear, including pistol, knife, phone, keys and other items before I weigh in.My first personal physician in Yuma never had a problem either; he is a competitive shooter and worked...
