History will be kind to me for I intend to write it. – Winston ChurchillToday’s mandatory reading assignment: Vanderleun’s Clear History. Ahead of next week’s 4th of July celebration it provides a short history of the world, the role of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution in it, and the willingness of some to erase or ignore it. This automatic ability to “Clear History” is a curious phenomenon. Something that is quite new.Today’s “Clear History” is not the “Revisionism” common to the Marxist, Leninist, and Maoist of old, where history was remade with the destruction of texts, the alterations of...

Washington - The Democratic National Committee is eyeing eight American cities for its 2020 Democratic National Convention, a party official tells CNN. The DNC sent requests for proposals to a host of cities and received responses from eight: Atlanta; Birmingham, Alabama; Denver; Houston; Miami Beach; Milwaukee; New York; and San Francisco. "The DNC sent the original letters of interest to a broad list of cities that have traditionally been able to meet the preliminary requirements for serving as a host," the official said. "We expect the entire selection process to play out over the next year."

Read it in a textbook; Saw it on Television: High school textbooks that depict President Donald Trump as “mentally ill” and his supporters as “a bunch of ignorant, poor, white hillbillies” and that teach 6-year-olds anal sex are the perfect hide-y-hole for the uninterrupted indoctrination of school children by the public education system. School boards, teacher activists and the mainstream media are, in fact, hiding behind trash textbooks and sex education. Drag them out of their closet of Filth.

Getting the country back to health is not a certainty, and the process will be a long uphill battle, but the steps must be taken soon A mob of foreigners is planning to march across the United States border knowing in advance that numerous sanctuary cities will break federal law and welcome them in. Unidentified individuals being allowed to vote in U.S. elections, riots at universities with the intention of preventing any discussion that does not agree with theirs. These realities are all happening now, and are all symptoms of a political plague that has been visited upon America and...

PARKLAND, Fla. (AP) — Thousands of angry students, parents, teachers and neighbors of a Florida high school where 17 people were killed demanded Saturday that immediate action be taken on gun-control legislation, insisting they would not relent until their demands were met.

The White House plans to withdraw Kathleen Hartnett White's nomination to head the Council on Environmental Quality, a White House official confirmed to CNN Saturday. Hartnett White, who would have overseen environmental and energy policies across the government, had described the belief in "global warming" as a "kind of paganism" for "secular elites" during a September 2016 interview on "The Right Perspective," an online conservative radio show. She has also said the goal of climate activists and the United Nations was an all-powerful, one-world government and "planetary management," KFile reported. President Donald Trump announced Hartnett White's nomination in October and...

A self-described Marxist professor at San Diego State University, who is a leader within the international communist movement, has told his students that “grading is a quintessentially bourgeois practice,” and is blaming the capitalist system for unfairly grading students on their individual academic ability. This message, from professor Emanuele Saccarelli, is in a syllabus for a class on Marxism which he has used for the past five years.

Americans are paying a fearsome price for global warming. The federal government's National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration reported earlier this week that the three powerful Atlantic hurricanes of 2017 -- Harvey, Irma and Maria -- cost Americans $265 billion, and massive Western forest fires another $18 billion. Scientists have shown that human-induced climate change has greatly increased the frequency and intensity of such disasters This week, New York City showed bold leadership with decisive action for climate safety and justice. Big Oil bought the Republican Congress with massive campaign donations. Republican senators led the witless Donald Trump to pull out...

To fill their top spot on the House Judiciary Committee, Democrats had a choice between experts in two critical policy arenas: a constitutional law ace with firsthand experience battling President Trump, and an architect of sweeping immigration legislation. By a wide margin, they chose the constitutional law expert. Why? To ready themselves for a battle with Trump that could end with impeachment proceedings. The selection of Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) as the ranking member on Judiciary was the clearest sign yet of how seriously House Democrats consider the possibility of a full-blown constitutional showdown with Trump. Democrats are careful to...

The city and county of Santa Cruz has joined a growing number of communities suing oil companies over climate change, alleging a Big Tobacco-like plot in which the fossil fuel industry long concealed the dangers of its products from consumers. The two lawsuits, filed Wednesday, blame the use and combustion of oil, gas and coal for accelerating sea level rise and threatening hundreds of millions of dollars of damage to the famously dramatic and much visited Santa Cruz County coast. While the challenge is similar to other suits recently filed by waterfront communities in California, including San Francisco, the new...

March On, a new organization founded by leaders of the massive women's protests the day after President Donald Trump's inauguration, is taking to the airwaves with a holiday-themed push for his impeachment. While the group's message — including offering for sale red Christmas sweaters embroidered with the word "Impeach" — strikes a different tone from liberal activist Tom Steyer’s deadly serious $10 million ad campaign on removing Trump, the effort is another sign that the Democratic Party's progressive base is getting ahead of its leaders on impeachment. "This holiday season, a new wish tops letters to Santa across the land:...

The Democratic Party, Democratic voters, and grass roots progressive activists should be in a state of high agitation, focused on one thing — containing Trump, his fake populism and his Republican allies. Instead, the party of the people is withering. Energy on the ground is low, infighting is high. The run-up to the Virginia gubernatorial election is feeling sickeningly like the last days of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. There is the same sort of chasm by race and class as in the Clinton-Trump race, with non-college educated whites favoring Republican Ed Gillespie by forty points. These are people, based on social...

By some accounts spreading online, the civil war begins on Saturday, when far-left radicals will gather in America’s streets. The only problem: That’s simply not true. For weeks, rumors have circulated among conspiratorial conservatives on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and some right-wing news sites that the loose coalition of anti-Trump demonstrators known as “Antifa” are plotting a revolution to begin on Nov. 4. A website called Silence is Consent, citing “sources,” reports that “Antifa … is planning to purge every single Trump voter, Republican, and conservative American in this country… raiding houses, seizing weapons, and causing absolute chaos.” To be blunt,...

Another progressive will challenge Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein in her re-election bid to the US Senate in 2018. Alison Hartson, 37, announced Thursday that she is entering the race for Feinstein's seat. Hartson, head of the progressive political action committee Wolf PAC, appeared on the progressive online media network "The Young Turks" to announce her decision. "We can't expect change from people like Dianne Feinstein who helped to create this corrupt system," Hartson said in a statement. "We can't wait for some progressive ideas to happen 20 years from now. We need a democracy that works for people and we...

On Nov. 9, 2016, about 12 hours after Hillary Clinton conceded defeat to Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi, the House minority leader, convened a conference call with her fellow House Democrats. Most of them were still back home in their respective districts and still in shock. Not only would Trump be president, but the Senate remained in G.O.P. control, and — despite rosy predictions from Pelosi and her party’s pollsters — so did the House. Several members on the call later told me they expected their leader to offer some show of contrition, an inventory of mistakes made or, at minimum,...

[I begin] with the story of a series of Socialist scholars conferences that Barack Obama attended when he lived in New York City between the years 1983 and 1985. And when I finally reconstructed what had gone on at these Socialist conferences that Barack Obama attended, I truly was amazed because what I saw was a kind of map of Barack Obama’s entire subsequent political career. It was at this Socialist conferences in New York in the mid-’80s that Barack Obama encountered the groups, the strategies, and the mentors who would guide him throughout his entire political career. [T]hese Socialist...

A Democratic Socialist student group at an Iowa college appeared to make death threats on Twitter against capitalists and President Trump -- the latter message drawing the attention of the Secret Service. “COMRADES: stay away from needle drugs! They only dope worth shooting is in the oval office [right now],” Iowa State University's Young Democratic Socialists of America chapter tweeted in September. The Secret Service told Fox News it was “aware” of the comment. This month, YDSA tweeted to encourage the hanging and extermination of all “capitalists." After the message drew complaints, Iowa State defended the group on Twitter, saying...

Even as Democrats publicly and loudly decry corporatist political “dark money,” billionaire Democrats and other donors funnel hundreds of millions to radical and violent causes. Barely a week had passed after Donald Trump’s historic upset in the November 8 presidential election, but some of the world’s richest individuals were already launching a counteroffensive. George Soros and his fellow deep-pocket funders of the Democratic Party and left-wing causes gathered with a lineup of party activists and luminaries from Hollywood, K Street, and Wall Street for a three-day “investment conference” (November 15-17) at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C....

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Wednesday he hoped recent devastating hurricanes in the Caribbean and southern United States would convince climate change skeptics like U.S. President Donald Trump that global warming is a “major threat.” Guterres, who will visit the Caribbean islands this weekend to see damage from last month’s hurricanes said the world must be more determined in pushing for ”a clean, sustainable energy future.”“I have not yet lost my hope that what is happening will be making those that are still skeptical about climate change to be more and more realizing that this, indeed, is a...

On January 13, Robert González Nieves, archbishop of San Juan, revealed Pope Francis’ role in Barack Obama’s pardon of terrorist mastermind Oscar Lopez-Rivera. Speaking from the Cathedral of San Juan, Nieves announced that although the Holy Father made no public statement of his involvement, he had indeed worked behind the curtain on behalf of the unrepentant, bloody-handed Lopez-Rivera. The archbishop was pleased to say: “I know that there have been efforts made through diplomatic channels. The pope is very aware. We are grateful to the Holy Father for his support.” Papal complicity in this politically charged act received little notice...
