A self-described Marxist professor at San Diego State University, who is a leader within the international communist movement, has told his students that “grading is a quintessentially bourgeois practice,” and is blaming the capitalist system for unfairly grading students on their individual academic ability. This message, from professor Emanuele Saccarelli, is in a syllabus for a class on Marxism which he has used for the past five years.

The professors belief is, rather, more related to the extreme Maoist POV of the Cultural Revolution days.

Tenure must be a bourgeois institution, as well. Maybe he’d like to renounce his tenure.
I heard several years ago that Stanford went to an all Pass/Fail grading system. That would explain how Webb’s daughter graduated from there...
Because certain demographics do poorly in the exams, leftists think the exams must be eliminated. Instead, they should look at what the exams are telling us, time after time, about the inability of some people to acquire our culture.

Moreover the loons in the West, under the influence of things like the Frankfurt School’s Critical Theory, are not really indoctrinated to survive and build up but only to self destruct and tear down. Societies that want to endure do not act like them, do not even tolerate their nonsense.
You can bet that the PC crowd would be shocked to discover, had they been in the old Soviet Union, that they’d be among the first into the gulags along with the homosexuals and gender confused nitwits they’ve helped to foster. They THINK that they will be sending the Deplorables into the new camps in this country but fail to realize that they won’t be in charge. Sure, the old Soviet Union is gone; but, they are eagerly working on behalf of anyone who wants to destroy our civilization, most notable the Islamists if we discount the ChiComs or the NWO.

Translation: marking exams is tedious and I’ll find anyway I can to avoid doing so.
He’s a Marxist because he can be. He is the quintessential, from each to each. He has no real skills to speak of and he takes from the American and California taxpayer on a daily basis. He get’s weekends, holidays and summers, off. He has TAs and Grad Assistants do most of his work for him, because they’ve been led to believe that they will be able to do the same thing he does, at some point in their lives. And, he probably makes a very nice salary and will get a very nice pension. Oh, and it’s probably next to impossible to fire him.
Heh heh. About that.... Their methods were actually effective, to an extent in the opposite direction. You were chosen to drive a T-34, either you were good at it or you were shot. Scientist? We imprison you and threaten to kill you family unless you meet certain performance criteria. Twice a year we execute a few scientists to remind everyone how serious we are about this....
