When Hillary Clinton was first lady, she did not have a security clearance, but she was "often provided" classified information, she told her longtime friend and ABC News host George Stephanopoulos in a long-forgotten Dec. 30, 2007 interview rediscovered by The Daily Caller. It was just weeks before the 2008 Iowa caucuses and Clinton was out touting her foreign policy experience, both as a senator from New York and as first lady. She wanted to be seen as the strong and experienced choice in contrast to upstart Barack Obama, then a senator from Illinois.

Congressman Darrell Issa has predicted that Hillary and Huma will never be indicted for leaking top-secret information through their illegal email scam. Hillary Clinton and her campaign minions are trying mightily to dismiss the conclusions of the intelligence community inspector general that highly classified Special Access Protocol (SAP) documents were transferred to Clinton’s unsecured private server. The first line of Clinton’s defense is (as usual) that the allegations are 1) nothing new and 2) politically motivated. But beyond this usual rote Clintonian response is the additional claim that the documents were also 1) not so classified when Clinton received them and 2) even if they were classified documents the information they contained was public knowledge anyway, so no harm, no foul.

Memories of the Walker family spy ring and British double agent Kim Philby could be resurrected if a new angle of the FBI investigation works toward its logical conclusion. Catherine Herridge of Fox News reports that the FBI is going directly to the intelligence agencies that generated the assessments to determine the original classification level. The investigators "will go directly to depose specific individuals in agencies who generated the highly classified materials." This is the prudent and smart thing to do in order to get specifics on the classification authority and to compare original documents with those that were stripped...

......movie is basically a flop, bringing in only $19 million over the three-day holiday weekend. This is especially disappointing for those who were rooting for this film, because January is, for whatever reason, a good month for movies that pander to military worship and pro-war "patriotism," with previous years seeing movies like "American Sniper" and "Lone Survivor" cleaning up with these crowds. Already twice today, Cruz supporters have posted Jim Geraghty's article, titling it Trump hates Tea Party, Trump loves Obama, etc etc etc. This video shows Trump at a Tea Party rally in Boca Raton one day after the Larry King program, from which Geraghty and Cruz supporters have drawn their claims that Trump hates the Tea Party. It's from National Review which can't abide Trump, but did once have respect for truth, or some semblance of it.

The Black Lives Matter movement (BLM) casts itself as a spontaneous uprising born of inner city frustration, but is, in fact, the latest and most dangerous face of a web of well-funded communist/socialist organizations that have been agitating against America for decades. The FBI is investigating whether Hillary Clinton's State Department improperly directed contracts to Clinton Foundation donors, in possible violation of public corruption laws, Fox News is reporting. Three sources confirmed the previously-unknown investigation angle to Fox reporters Catherine Herridge and Pamela Browne. "The agents are investigating the possible intersection of Clinton Foundation donations, the dispensation of State Department contracts and whether regular processes were followed," one law enforcement source told Fox. Examples abound of Clinton's State Department opening doors for Clinton Foundation donors, as well as to the then-secretary of state's friends and political allies.

In what was surely the most sickening display of presidential demagoguery in the history of the United States, President Obama wept - wept - crocodile tears in a calculated effort to gain the support of the ignorant, the clueless, and the stupid while announcing multiple violations of the Bill of Rights yesterday. Obama's speech alternated between effeminate weeping, pleading, and sanctimonious, holier-than-thou indignation as he presented a litany of falsehoods, straw man arguments, and outright lies as justification for his plan to strip the American public of constitutionally enumerated rights:

WASHINGTON — The Black Lives Matter movement took to the streets of Washington, D.C., to block traffic Thursday in protest against police brutality and what they see as systematic institutional racism. Protesters marched through the streets and cornered off intersections. They even stepped in front of moving traffic, ignoring the scorn and honking from drivers trying to pass by. The protesters had a simple message for frustrated drivers. They argued that a moment of discomfort paled in comparison to what black people have to deal with on a regular basis.

Gun crime convictions are down more than 33 percent compared to a decade ago, but the Obama administration’s gun control push has risen sharply. In fact, Politico reports that next week, Obama is expected to announce executive gun control to broaden background checks and put new regulations on licensed gun sellers.
