Woman killed when car hits deer Tuesday, January 5, 2016 ~ Updated 4:24 PM Hope Thompson, 49, of Sedgewickville, Missouri, was killed Jan. 4 when the car her daughter was driving struck a deer on Highway 72, three miles east of Patton, Missouri. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the deer crashed through the windshield of the 2012 Nissan Sentra driven by Rhiannon Thompson, 16, of Sedgewickville, striking both occupants.
