Officer gunned down in New Mexico by face-tattooed suspect
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A police officer who authorities say attempted to chase down a 38-year-old man with three active arrest warrants was fatally shot by the suspect Friday after an exchange of gunfire in a southern New Mexico town.
The suspect, Joseph Moreno, also was killed in the morning shootout near a trailer park in Alamogordo, police said at a news conference. The desert town of about 31,000 people is home to the White Sands National Monument and Holloman Air Force Base.
Police identified the slain officer as Clint Corvinus, a four-year veteran who graduated from high school in Alamogordo. Authorities said he is survived by his parents, girlfriend and an 8-year-old daughter.
“I am again so very saddened to see that yet another courageous law enforcement officer has been killed in the line of duty,” Gov. Susana Martinez said in a statement. “The violence against our police officers has to end, and we must do everything we can to stand up for those who put their lives on the line every single day to protect us.”

When you see a face-tattoo, you should be extremely wary. At the very minimum, it means this person would NEVER have a job that issues a W-2. Make your own assumptions from there.

When I see a face tattoo, I automatically think “there goes a person who should be locked up for life because they are insane”!

My take on a face tattoo is that, at a minimum, this person has poor decision making skills.
There was a time when a tattoo of any type was associated with criminals. I think that now a face tattoo means the same thing. Because everybody was getting tattoos the really bad-ass who wants to advertise how bad he is, had to graduate to a face tat. A face tat has the same meaning in the street animal kingdom as a tomcat who pees on things so other cats know how bad he is.
How small minded you are. Can’t you see him as a loan officer at a bank? Lol!

Off-duty Chicago Police officer grazed in Bridgeport shooting

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - An off-duty Chicago Police officer was grazed by a bullet early Sunday and returned fire in the Bridgeport neighborhood on the South Side.
The officer completed his shift shortly after 5 a.m. and was driving west on West 31st Street near South Loomis Street when a vehicle sped up behind his vehicle, Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.
The officer slowed down, in an effort to let the other vehicle travel around him, but the vehicle pulled up alongside the officer’s vehicle and someone inside pointed a gun in his direction and fired shots, Guglielmi said.
The officer suffered a graze wound to the upper arm, he said. He returned fire and the other vehicle sped away.
He was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Guglielmi said, adding that the officer is expected to be treated and released.

Yep. I talked to a guy who dumpster dives all the time around here. He has a lightning tattoo all across his face. He said he severely regretted it because he can get a real job now. He’s a changed person, but those bad days and decisions have ruined his life.
I wonder, how many releases do you have to sign to get something this stupid tattooed on your face?

Alamogordo Police Chief K. Daron Syling said the police department received “direct threat” from Moreno’s associates (gang members) after he was killed in the shootout with Corvinus, ABC-7 reported. Syling said tactical teams, including police helicopters, have been requested as the department stayed on high alert.
