What if the illegals left? Somebody really did their homework on this one. Best on the subject to present date. What if 20 Million Illegal Aliens Vacated America? I, Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, "Mexican Visitor's Lament." I interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, "Illegal aliens pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes. What happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?" Hmmm, I thought, what would happen? So I did my due diligence, buried my nose as a reporter into the FACTS I...

Obama will keep his walls and open our borders. For some Americans this will mean death from disease and at the hands of illegal-alien criminals, but Obama doesn't care A well known phenomenon in the animal kingdom is that when taking over a new pride, a lion will sometimes kill all the cubs. We don’t know exactly what kind of feeling drives him in this bloody act, but there’s obviously a lack of attachment. Suffice it to say the problem can be summed up thus: it’s not his family. America’s pride is falling. And few things illustrate this better than...

Few were as excited about Election Day as Moises Herrera. He did not run for office. He cannot even vote. But reaching Tuesday’s election, he hopes, will set in motion actions that will allow him to stay in the country. “It’s the great hope,” Herrera, a 36-year-old father of four, said in an interview on Election Day, days after immigration officials released him. “There are many, many people in that jail, and they are waiting for that day.” In Massachusetts, Herrera was at constant risk of deportation. In 2011, after a traffic stop in Everett, he was jailed and deported,...

... Shaheen, when asked by Breitbart News about a recent study from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) that found 71 percent of all New Hampshire jobs since 2000 have gone to both legal and illegal aliens rather than New Hampshire citizens, ducked for cover. “My understanding is that’s a study sponsored by a right-wing organization,” she replied. When Breitbart News noted that the study is based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau and other government sources—and includes no data from non-governmental sources—her communications director Harrell Kirsten abruptly called an end to the press conference inside the local Democratic...

Marcelo Marquez allegedly shot and killed a Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy and a Placer County Sheriff's Deputy, and also allegedly shot and wounded a second Placer County deputy and a civilian on Friday. On Saturday, authorities revealed that the suspect -- real name, Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte -- had already been deported twice from the United States. According to Sacramento's KCRA, he was "sent back in to Mexico in 1997 and again in 2001." The 1997 deportation was the result of "conviction in Arizona...on charges of possession of narcotics for sale." He was arrested stateside in 2001 as well.

Mayor Bill de Blasio is asking his health policy team to formulate a plan for how the administration can better reach immigrant communities and connect them to health care. Led by Lilliam Barrios-Paoli, the deputy mayor for health and human services, the new working group will submit a list of recommendations in the coming months, outlining a plan to better reach immigrants—both documented and undocumented—who are not eligible for traditional health care options like Medicaid and Medicare, nor insurance plans available through the Affordable Care Act.

Some important definitions that are all too often avoided in polite conversation when we consider what to do about those who continue to enter the United States illegally. These different terminologies matter a great deal when discussing this very important subject - Immigrant: Person who legally enters the host country and demonstrates a sincere desire to join the society, contributing to and assimilating from cultural aspects thereof, including language, political morality [viz. embracing freedom], music, food, clothing, religion, family traditions, sex roles, etc. Such persons are invested in the host country’s future. They are thusly resolved to adapt and further...

Last night at an immigration activist dinner in Washington DC Obama took his shameless pandering and tenuous hold on reality to new despicable depths. Speaking before the mostly Latino crowd, the President actually said his best definition of an American is someone who enters this country illegally and leaches off the hard work of others. Obama got the crowd warmed up by speaking a little Spanish and telling them he rode to the event with two illegal aliens in his limo. Amid the current Secret Service scandal, you have to wonder how illegal aliens get vetted so they can party...

Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) said Wednesday that any distinction between illegal immigrants and those who obey U.S. laws and enter the country legally “doesn't exist.” CNSNews asked the Arizona Democrat, who supports a movement by a growing number of churches to provide sanctuary for illegal aliens facing deportation, what he would say to those who entered the U.S. legally. "That the issue here is about family," Grijalva replied. "That the issue here is that the people that are seeking the support and the protection of sanctuary are people that are hard-working, families, blended family many times, with citizens and children,...

Barack Obama's Defense Department on Thursday announced its plan to recruit illegal aliens, who they admit are undocumented, to join the United States Armed Forces, according to a statement released by the Pentagon. Critics are unhappy with this latest announcement, with some claiming the American armed services will become more like the French Foreign Legion, which historically allow fugitives from justice and others to join up with no required documentation. ... What are they trying to so in this administration? Turn our excellent military into a knock-off of the French Foreign Legion? Obama, who has never been anything more than...

Tens of thousands of young families caught crossing the border illegally earlier this year subsequently failed to meet with federal immigration agents, as they were instructed, the Homeland Security Department has acknowledged privately. An official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed that about 70 percent of immigrant families the Obama administration had released into the U.S. never showed up weeks later for follow up appointments. The ICE official made the disclosure in a confidential meeting at its Washington headquarters with immigration advocates participating in a federal working group on detention and enforcement policies. The Associated Press obtained an audio...

--snip-- Despite President Obama's call to end deportations of nonviolent undocumented people, repeat border offenders remain on ICE's priority list. A minor legal infraction also has complicated Benito's case. He arrived illegally in the United States in 2000, left in 2004 to visit his widowed father in Puebla, Mexico, and was caught coming back through Arizona and deported. He sneaked back in that year to rejoin Bautista and the daughter who was then their only child.

Real Christian love is making responsible, wise and character-driven decisions with the best interest of others at heart; not embracing lawlessness or surrendering to evil. Insidiously, Obama is using beautiful needy illegal alien kids as perfect Trojan Horses to continue his fundamental transformation of America for decades. A Hudson Institute study shows that illegals granted amnesty by Obama are far less inclined to assimilate; embrace English, the concept of American Exceptionalism and respect our Constitution. The study also shows that illegals granted a “get in America free” pass from Obama do not view America as being better than other countries....

many unaccompanied alien children (UAC) were set free in various counties across the country. More were released in Texas' Harris County--in which Houston is located--than any other county in the nation. ... Dallas County received the second most UAC in Texas ... Educating the foreign minors will not be cheap; David Anderson, the Texas Education Agency General Counsel, recently pointed out that due to cultural differences and language barriers, it will be more costly to education immigrant children than it is to educate students who are U.S. citizens. In Texas, more than $45 million will be spent educating the UAC...

Marta Mendoza, a 47-year-old Mexican woman, had lived in the Los Angeles area illegally for 32 years. There, she raised six children, all U.S. citizens. In July 2013, Mendoza, who has a history of mental health issues, was arrested for shoplifting at a pharmacy near her home. The American Civil Liberties Union says that while in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, she was pressured to sign "voluntary return" papers, which led her to be returned to her home country five days later."We didn't know where she was at," her daughter Patricia told NPR's John Burnett. "We had to go...

A senior official in Calais has confirmed that it will start demolishing the filthy makeshift camp that is home to as many as 2000 illegal immigrants bound for Britain. Numbers at the 'Jungle 2' camp have swollen in recent months, leading to staff at the UK Border Force admitting they are unable to cope.Deputy Mayor Philippe Mignonet, who is in-charge of immigration told the Daily Express: “The camp will be dismantled. All depends on the Home Office minister to give the instructions to do so.”He pointed out that working as virtual slaves on the UK illegal labour market can appear...

Politics: Give us your poor, your tired, your future Democrats waiting to be registered. That's what some in the party are saying as they urge the president to pursue immigration goals even if it hurts in the '14 midterms. In other words, damn the political torpedoes and full speed ahead in the fundamental demographic and political transformation of America. "You'll always have members whose political vulnerability they tie entirely to immigration," said Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz. "We didn't make progress when we were in the majority because we were being protective of those (members) on immigration reform. At some point...
